How to get my kids out

i've been disfellowshipped for about 5 years and extremely happy to be out.

my ex wife is still a regular meeting attender and takes our two young kids with her (8 and 6 years old).

i recently saw some of the caleb and sophia videos on the jw.org website and was completely appalled, i remember what i was taught as a kid growing up in the organization but this seems so much worse and now that i'm out i can plainly see the mind control.

Dear SaneAgain,
I was about to tell you about my own experience but I will not do it. Not at all by fear to be recognized, as I am no more, since a very short time, belonging to the JW org,, as I have decided to "officially" dissociate myself.
If I give you more information about my own experience I will have to give you details about my wife and daughters, about their privacy life. And I do not want to do it by respect for them.
Anyway let me tell you that only through true love you will get the love and the respect of your children back to you in due time. Love (with hugging and kissing) and some appropriate material sacrifices are always appreciated by children. Only your efforts will help your children to make the difference between true love and cult manipulation.
Let me repeat it: a difficult situation today can turn into an easy one tomorrow, ...or the day after tomorrow.

I fully understand what you are going through now. Not easy, but not insoluble. It will take some time for you. I will come back and tell you what has happened to me before and more recently. But I will have to make my say more complete so that I can give you useful information. It will take me one, two or three more days because on one hand English is not my mother tongue and on the other hand I will have to collect useful information out of my brain, my heart an my own experince to help you to realize that a difficult situation today can turn into an easy one tomorrow.

My own daughter has much suffered; she will get justice in due time.

just learned today direct from my beloved daughter that she has been abused between 5 and 12 years old by 2 brothers (her own cousins) and 1 family "friend".

she has attempted suicide a few days ago.

luckily she is living and she is not physically injured.

Very good news. My daughter is much, much, much better now. She is living now with me. I am so happy !!! Life is nice !!!. Recently I have officially dissociated myself from the JW org. Now I do not feel anymore like a fading Albatross but like a unfettered Albatross, like a bird flying now over oceans of freedom. It took time after many decades to take the decision to dissociate myself from the JW cult, But luckily every good thing is coming in due time. And in due time too my daughter will apply, with the help of my son, to a competent and authorized judicial department of my counry to have her abusers to pay for their crime against her innocent childhood. Life is nice for those who are not afraid to fight for real justice, the kind of justice you will never get if you are still enslaved out of fear to seven GB members, "eders" and other WT henchman.

Breaking away from the JW programming and mind control

it amazes me how much power mind control can have over your emotions, your behavior and thoughts.

let me explain, apathy has taken over a close family that my wife and i care about.

the cognitive dissonance within this family is huge.

It took me three years to be 100 % deprogrammed. Repeated unchristan behaviour from "elders" triggered something off in my mind, inciting me to do some reaearches in the history of the Watchtower, and more. Knowing English language is a precious aid to do succesful researches.

It is not easy to unchain onself from a cult aftr 40 years of repeated manipulation. Anyway it is possible, but it takes much work. For family reasons I am fading, 100 % fading. And one son and one daughter of mine are now 100 % keeping their distance from this cult.

When the innocence of your children is not respected, it is like a knife somebody is stabing in your heart. I have seen my daughter today, like everyday, and the chief, a doctor and a nurse of her psychiatric clinic gave me useful information about her. I am sure my daughter will manage to get out in due time of that difficult mental situation.

Two elders already knew about the abuses she suffered two years ago, but they have not told me anything about it, because I am inactive since three years. Wretched sheperds !

As my daughter is major now, she will be competent to register a judicial complaint against her abusers. She promised me she will do it. Among her three agressors there are two JWs. Be sure I will take care that the elders of her congregation will not be able to jump over the laws of Ceasar and that the abusers will be punished.

When I told ""I could never imagine before this kind of could touch my own family." I just wanted to speak of my huge surprise, but I have never had the slightest feeling that my daughter is diminished.

Regarding my position towards the other members of the congregation how could I feel myself superior to them ? I do not belong anymore to the JW congregation since many years. My fading and my inactivity are both 100 %. I do not trust anymore in the religious organization directed by the 7 manipulators forming the GB in USA.

In my point a view I am not anymore a member of the congregation. I have to fade for family reasons.
