  Hopefully the witnesses in Russia will not have to face criminal charges and understand that we can love our neighbour without being part of a cult.

  Hopfully the Watchtower will have to face up not only to liquidation but to confiscation odf properties too. Sorry for the witnesses in Russia but the fact of remaining under the rule of a cult may prove to be dangerous nowadays. 

  Hopefully the witnesses  in Russia will not have to face criminal charges and understand that we can love our neighbour without being part of a cult.

  I am surprised that no one has yet commented on this post. Regarding me I can see one, two, three, four, five, six, seven... yes seven Pharisees-in-chief by connecting me to the website of an American wellknown cult. Their faces, their faked smiles and their mannerism leave me in no state of uncertainty as to their identity and do not encourage me to return under their rule. I prefer by far to be shunned, even by some family members.   Raising kids in a split faith household

  hi guys, don't know if this is the right place to ask but id like to hear other peoples experiences with raising kids in a household with split faiths.

  just for a bit of a back story, my wife and i have been married for comming up 6 years.

  we have 3 kids, 2 boys aged 5 and 3 and a 8 week old girl.

  You are faced with a difficult situation, but not an insoluble one. I have known much more difficult situations before I have decided after four decades to dissociate myself from the JW cult. One of the main conditions so the ball remains in your court : Do never open the door of your home to one of the underlings of the JW.Org, even if your wife or one of your children implores you to do it.   Comparing people in the world to dogs running after a ball is an insult to people who do not belong to the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses. Dogs have by far more dignity and intelligence than some members of the JWs governing body who do not hesitate to play the fool to captivate their flock.

  Are the anointed really "lovely people"?

  i've personally never met any of those who claim to be anointed but the other jw's who have are always unanimous in their praise of how lovely and what wonderful people they are.

  and i don't mean the gb i mean common or garden anointed.

  i was told that when they speak about being in heaven that they almost "seem to glow".. is this right?

  All the "anointed ones", male or female, that I came to know during my fourty years in the WT cult in many congregations of different languages on two different continents were a bit touched, I mean not quite all there, in any case obviously socially maladjusted.

  The mental manipuation exerted with the passing years by the organization of Jehovah witnesses on their members  to make them believe that they are living every day surrounded by enemies (the "worldly" people) inevitably  brings them to face a constant stress.
