  Don't touch ark of covenant

  i raised an issue with a co once about an elders qualifications, he visited my house and in no uncertain terms said don't touch ark of covenant ( referring to elder as ark ) , i was gob smacked then he said to wife and i that if we pursued such an avenue we could be grieving gods holy spirit.

  so ther you go elder are on par with god ..

  i asked an old jw friend of mine why so many baptized individuals leave the jw religion.

  "did it ever occur to you, old friend, that maybe they know something that you don't know and have valid reasons for leaving?

  ", i asked.. his response set me back for an answer.

  i'm wondering if the borg actually studied mind control and coercion tactics deliberately or wether they just evolved over time through trial and error.

  from reading steve hassans books, studying hypnosis and methods psychopaths use it all seems very complex.

  like it would never occur to me to do a, b and c in the right order at the right time in order to get control of someone or control their lives.. for example, repetition of words (the word "loyalty" was a big one in the last convention), using loaded language, encouraging people not to trust their own thoughts, restricting their information, demonising those who leave etc.

  Ban every undue concern for a nice future.

  Leave the stress for those deserving it.

  Isolation has advantages and allow you to meditate on true friendship and true life.

  5. You want to avoid rocking the boat for rest of family members

  Instead of fearing to rock the boat for other persons, concentrate on your future (education, culture, etc.)

  6. You need your faith (Christian) - but where do you go?

  God is still the only One being at the helm to make the earth go round and round.

  7. The worry of making a fool of yourself ie fade and then go back - perceived as fickle

  Why should you return to human slavery. You deserve much better.

  8. The impact it would have on your family - arguments etc

  It depends if you have balls or none. If not it's time to get some.

  9. Missing your friendships

  Let me laugh ! What is true friendship ?

  10. Missing routine

  i really felt for you sisters i mean i really did.

  when you showed up at the sunday meeting and found out the subject of the talk was going to be -and i can't quite remember the exact wording- but something to the effect of marriage and headship, or honoring and obeying your husband, or something like that how many of you wanted to jump right back in your car and head home.

  i mean 45 straight minutes of beating down you poor ladies and telling you that you are not worthy of making one decision, taking the lead in anything, don't question the man be obedient and keep quiet.

  Forget your hope because already now females are as powerful as men, even much more in many, many, many aspects. One mere example : Can you imagine a man giving birth to a babe without passing out !!!

  Another example : they usually live much longer then men....... finally, the man owes his long domination over woman at his natural aggressiveness (wars and so on....).

  what do you think will happen when they start knocking on doors and telling people that their families will be killed in armageddon because they did not believed in jehovah.
