  the more specific the better :) here are mine:.

  i predict that within the next two to three years (2017-2018) we will start seeing negative numbers in growth.. i predict that within the next thirteen to fifteen years (2027-2030) the number of jws will be less than 4million.. and i predict that by the time the first person sets foot on mars there will already have been a major split in the organization with either one of the gb or a branch overseer starting a new religion..

  They are getting desperate that's for sure. Counting a link as a placement?

  Is that any different than telling someone at the door where to go online to get more information? Or is that a placement?

  Things are going downhill fast next thing you know people showing even a slight positive acknowledgement such as a nod or handshake will be counted as studies or even associating with them.

  Honestly speaking, I see a major event perhaps through a series of events that collectively make up a drastic change for policies within the next 5 years. This could potentially include inciting and working up the members to another specific or decade date. They have to do something to stop the hemorrhaging of members fading, leaving, resigning, and being kicked out.

  No more printing of WT and Awake in my country.. Shit just got real

  guys .

  a letter was just read in out kh stating that all printing of wt and awake is ceased for the coming year and we will just place tracts on fs, countries which were cared by our branch will be cared by other countries...along with this they read the new fs form and stuff about reporting links of videos wtf..lol.

  i can't tell which country perhaps that will give away a lot, any one with a similar information.

  if you know of a death or serious injury/disability related to the blood policy, please help us document it.

  @ ILTTATT2 - thanks for making the list. I'm sure it was tedious work going through all those papers looking for them.

  I started a to do the same but I just didn't have the time. Now I have the time but instead have taken up the bible translation comparison work. :-)

  back in 1991, a young brother maybe 18 years old living next to my place committed suicide.

  his father expected him to be very zealous just like he was, but the son never wanted to be like that.

  he was always controlled by his father.

  i would like to see one or better two members of the governing body get disfellowshipped and they both go off to write books like ray franz exposing the cult to all the sexual scandals, the hidden agendas with the stock market investments, the lawsuits, the laying of long time bethel workers, hidden sins by the higher ups and all the other nasty skeletons in the watchtower closet..

  what would be different today compared to rays time is that we now live in a social media world..

  they would be invited to talk in the oprah winfrey show, ellen degeneres show, the view, dateline.

  I don't believe this would be possible today considering the GB knows the tremendous impact Ray Franz did to their movement. They probably have all higher ups (branch coordinators, bethel elders, committee members, and GB) sign a non-disclosure agreement or confidentiality agreement and extend this 50 years AFTER they leave if they are ever terminated, suspended, disfellowshipped, or made to resign.

  There are however, certain limitations in various country statutes that can make null or void depending on circumstances.

  That's my 2-cents. :-)

  Is it true? Heard a rumor WT postphones Disfellowshipping until further notice!!??

  i am not sure if it's true but i heard from a good source that wt has given instructions to elders to postponed disfellowshipping members from wrong doing/gross sin until further instructions given by headquarters.

  i heard some jws were just reproved either privately or publically.

  has anyone else heard anything like this recently?

  just got back from "imitate jehovah" ca and noticed that the theme was never really used at all.

  all the talks were about family, preaching and getting along with others in the hall.

  they didn't once go over an account of how jehovah acted in the past and how we should imitate that action.

  Critique of the lastest New World Translation?

  hi, i'm a long-time lurker who is still in due to family.

  i'm hoping someone here can help me.. is there anywhere online that i can find a critique of the new bible revision?

  one of the things that really got me was when i researched about the new world translation and found how there was no basis for adding jehovah's name in the new testament, and then other areas where they translated to accommodate their interpretation.

  @ FayeDunaway - yeah, it truly is tedious work but well worth it. I got tired of hearing those maggots on the GB with other brothers parroting how great this translation was.

  Let's just say that as it stands right now, the translation is an injustice to the writers but more so to God who's Word they have clearly adulterated and poisoned.
