  why must these people be figurative walls when talking about the lies of the jw cult?.

  the other day, i had a conversation with my mother.

  we started talking about the election and how the candidates differ (me being a supporter of bernie).

  In the end she told me she doesn't care about what the organization does or has done, and that what's important is "God" and what the Bible says

  This statement is key to understanding why she doesn't grasp or understand the fact that the GB are lying sinister hypocrites.

  Simply speaking, due to the repetitive exposure to witness teachings, in her mind, God and the GB are the same entity. So when she is shown concrete proof that the GB lies, minsterprets, deceives, etc., because her mind only understands them to BE Jehovah God, it will automatically protect itself by going into a state of denial in order to protect itself by something (the truth) to hard to even contemplate. The harder you push the more defensive she will get up to the point of violence.

  This is a very broad overview of the psychological condition many witnesses suffer from when they are confronted with the truth. When they experience this in field service, they just label people apostates and be done with it, onto to the next house. It's actually quite fascinating to see this happen.

  The KEY WORD in Isaiah 44:25-26 is "Predictions" and the apostles NEVER made any predictions setting dates.

  isaiah 44:25-26, i am frustrating the signs of the empty talkers, and i am the one who makes diviners act like fools; the one confounding the wise men and turning their knowledge into foolishness; the one making the word of his servant come true and completely fulfilling the predictions of his messengers.

  the record shows your words and many predictions did not come true.

  again, the key word in isaiah 44:25-26 is "predictions" and the apostles never made any predictions ever.

  I had watched this one. Son of Thunder handled himself very well and defended his beliefs like a Boss!

  I almost threw my laptop out the window when that maggot elder who is not within range of the camera starts in with his "you know I've been sitting here .......and not once have you said the name Jehovah..." I caught my self yelling, irrelevant!!! No bearing on the matter at hand!!! These maggots truly believe they speak for God. Incredible!!

  I danced a jig every time he made them look stupid and foolish. That's why I'd recommend the video to anyone and everyone!

  I don't believe things are what they appear.

  The WT does these kinds of things with a purpose in mind. Whether it be further mind conditioning, propagandizing, or plain old subconscious subliminal messaging.

  There is a plan behind their facade of being spiritual.

  These ******* are sinister if anything. I've been documenting them for a while now and they'll soon be exposed in the literary world. The physical literary world and that includes digital media.

  You know, I'll be brutally honest.

  I don't think Jesus looked outside to measure the position of the moon, then made sure his apostles understood the specific date, and if it was day or night.

  Jesus Christ quite simply said "do this in remembrance of me."

  How the Jehovah's Witnesses came up with all the stipulations, procedures, rules, regulations, policies, and protocols to follow, is completely beyond comprehension other than to say they have corrupted the simple instructions handed down by the Christ.

  Question for those still attending the Kingdom Hall

  this a question more out of curiosity, because we have not stepped foot in a kh in 3 years.. how is the attendance at the meetings/assemblies?

  i know the answer will vary due to location.. are you (especially elders) receiving any notification or communication from bethel or co's that there is an upsurge of people that are simply disappearing or out right dis associating?.

  In my congregation I believe there are 52 publishers give or take a few. During the weekly meeting perhaps half of that number show up, yes half. Weekend meeting averages about 85. People love Sunday church!

  The hall can easily seat 130 so yeah even before I became very irregular I noticed the sharp decline.

  The few times I've visited on the weekend I can't recognize half the people. So who knows if they are asking other congos to make it look more impressive. Sounds far-fetched but it is the WT we are dealing with here.

  What I find interesting about celebrating the Memorial is that Christ asked that we continue celebrating his death.

  He did not say celebrate my death on this specific date, at this specific hour.

  I realize traditionally (Christ and Paul condemned traditions of men) special occasions are celebrated annually many times on a specific date but wouldn't this be holding to the traditions of men i.e. this world?

  A relative of mine (he's immediate family ;-) yes) told about 5 years ago, his stipend was in the $90s range. Can't really recall the number but he would always call home asking for money.

  She is a psychologist who spent half her career trying to prove there was something substantial behind reports of supernatural events. After many years she stopped her investigation completely. Every incident without exception turned out to be a case of exaggeration, delusion or deceit.

  Thanks for the info cofty. Definitely going to look into her work. I'll continue my journey in search of truth wherever that may lead me.
