S.A.D. Observations from the assembly.
by Darkknight757 inso we had brother losch visiting our special assembly day which was weird in itself.
he's not a very good speaker and seemed like he was in dire need of a nap or something.. anyways just a few observations from the assembly program.
theme: imitate their faith.

I was enthralled with "his sincerity", talking about a splitter group from Romania and they were cut off from the Org in 1950 when the Soviet Union took over. Then when the Soviet Union collapsed and communication was re-established, these Brothers did not accept the changes to the Org (he mentioned smoking being a big issue). "It took a week of long nightly discussions and prayers" but "I always addressed them as Brothers", "Then me and another Brother with me were able to convince 3 of the 4 prominent Brothers in charge, representing some 75% percent of the publishers,(some 5000 people) to come back to the Organization. "
I remember this splinter group in Romania. I believe it was Dan Sydlik who was also there that helped convince those people to come back to the Org. This actually was featured in a magazine some years ago I remember reading it. Back then I had some doubts but very minimal doubts and thought to myself "Wow! These people were certainly saved from dying!" I think back now and just sigh.

Holy freaking hell, they are pimping me out. There’s a lot of other hilarious stuff that happened and I have to say it is quite a tempting lure to pull me back to the kingdom hall, but I think I will pass. (The picture of the long legs of the 30 year old really got to me) Now I know why Israel fell to Moab right before the promise land.
I nearly fell off the chair with this one.

Counsel from Bro Losch (GB Member) to the Elders about the NFL
by James Jack inwhile attending a week long training class for elders in patterson, bro losch gave the concluding talk about loyalty to the borg, which i was in awe of(i went more in detail in a recent post about a s.a.d.
where losch was the speaker).
at the end of his talk, here's what he said: .

An Elder sitting next to me from Alabama said: "that driver is in the wrong and needs to be counseled! I am going to write a letter to the Branch about this driver and his lack of respect toward members of the Governing Body"!
You should have told this elder to be sure to include in his letter a guidance request on how best to remove Bro Losch's schlong from his anal cavity with the least pain possible.

Had the C.O visit this week...went out on service and Wow
by MrsR-Awaken inthis is my first post here (not being comments) but i still have to tell my story but for that i need to get my mind together in other to give as much detail as possible to be able to share it.
will do in a future post.. anyway i had to share this.. so i went out on service this morning (i never do i always end up excusing myself because i hate field service) reason i did was to see what the new c.o had to say and he sure did say something.
he was saying what we had to present and he went over the watchtower magazine.

The CO's like to think of themselves as religious executives who answer to the chairman.
It's not surprising that this moron would use an illustration like this. He should have just cut to the chase and told you guys to distract the householder while your partner covertly but discreetly flung the magazines into the home. I can almost see him saying: "Let those bitches fly!"
On a personal note, our recent visit had our CO saying he was disappointed in our lack of zeal for placing more magazines. There were just too many magazines left over!! In my mind I was thinking yeah, people already have enough bullsh** I don't think they need any more.

A member that goes against the doctrines by the GB and are subsequently disfellowshipped for "apostasy" although they are not rebelling against God or Scripture but rather the man-made doctrine interpretations, these type of "apostates" are usually very honest and open about their plight. This is the first example.
On the other hand you have the type of member who gets disfellowshipped due to practices condemned by Scripture, let me emphasize, practices that are clearly prohibited in Scripture. These members start off their disfellowshipped life being angry, resentful, and even vengeful perhaps because they were caught, are embarrassed, marriage in trouble, family in shambles, or perhaps for how Elders sometimes will deal harshly with them instead of trying to comfort them and admonish them like the lost lamb that they are. This is the second example.
The third example is that of members that are disfellowshipped for clearly going against Scripture in believing in things like Hell, Trinity, etc. These members usually will never return to the Organization and almost immediately they will commence posting and openly going against what Scripture is clear on. Once this threshold is crossed, they become very adamant about their position and many times they will start their own church or group.
The fourth and final example is of members who realize that they have been misled by the GB, start to fade quietly, and sometimes move away in order to successfully fade with their entire family and social circle intact.
It is the second and third examples of those that I have found to sometimes flat out lie or stretch the truth out a bit. Their reasons are obvious; trying to add to their membership roles, and trying to undermine the organization that caught them red-handed but crossing over into actual "apostasy".
The first and second examples will usually remain honest while sometimes extremely critical of the organization but nevertheless they remain honest.
All of these four examples are members who are lumped into one group as "apostates" by the organization for going against them in some form or another.
The second example is the classic "apostate" example. While the third example can evolve into other forms that are not Godly such as atheism. Once this happens they will turn on God and start to berate Biblical teachings even lying about Scripture.

General health after learning TTATT
by Darkknight757 in4 months ago i was conducting the watchtower study along with a long list of responsibilities that come with being an elder in a very goofy congregation.
during this time my health was going down hill.
i've always had a low blood pressure,(102/65 or abouts) but for the past year it had creeped up to 135/90 range.. so 2 months ago after learning ttatt, i'm still considered an elder because the brothers won't let me step down, but i haven't done anything in that time except comment once at a meeting a few weeks ago.
