by Salutaris inhey there, .
i have an apologetics website, and i've recently posted three articles on jw doctrine.
i was wondering if you all could make suggestions to improve them, or for new content.

Very Weird Experience During Recent Special Talk After Memorial
by Tenacious inhesitantly i attended this talk with my family and sat through it without batting an eye.. mentally i take myself out during the entire meeting some would describe this as daydreaming or zoning out.
whatever the case may be, for some reason this particular speaker, whom i know of but not personally, got my attention the way he would say certain phrases.
he cited some texts that directly advised the audience that faith in christ was the only way to salvation.

@ flamegrilled - okay, something is definitely not right then.
Hey Atlantis do you or Wifibandit have the outline? Does anyone else maybe?
I'm going to look through the ones I have to see if it's there or if some brothers are looking through their bullcrap.
@ Vidiot - LOL, you reminded me of Jack Nicholson in a Few Good Men. Grave danger? "Is there another kind?"

True God would not seek praise nor worship from us
by elbib inwhen asked: “why there is so much of suffering here if god exists?” buddha responded with silence because he knew the following:.
1) even though living in heaven, anyone can live as though he lives in hell and vice versa which means how a person thinks is the key.
experience show that whatever a person does with 100% involvement (totality = beauty), it is like he lives in heaven.

That is an interesting perspective. -

@ WitnessMyFury - I don't believe he has claimed being of the anointy.
@ kairos - that my friend would be darn hilarious to hear.
@ OEJ - it could be, that's a good point. However, I've never seen it where Jehovah is blatantly ignored during these special talks. I'm still scratching my head. It kinda hurts from all the scratching now LOL.
@ ListlessWitness - that's hilarious.
@ DOC - I dread the speakers who immediately open with that darn dreaded line .... "Oh heavenly Jehovah ..." I feel like running up on the platform and smacking the snot out of them.
@ Naoscillator - that would definitely be a good thing!
@ tornapart - I have to find that link. Post it if you happen to still know it or have it. Thanks!
@ Sugar Shane - In all honesty it felt like time stood still when he read that text. I remember I popped my eyes and looked right at him and he kinda hesitated and then quickly moved on. I felt like the audience paid close attention to his next words because it became eerie quiet for a few seconds and that's when I noticed the speaker hesitated a bit then quickly moved on. Who knows but I know the audience went into scrutiny mode real quick.

Hesitantly I attended this talk with my family and sat through it without batting an eye.
When he read that text I popped my eyes and thought to myself "what the heck is going on?"
I intently listened to see if he would defer to the outline or just speak freely. I couldn't really tell being that he either memorized it really well or he would discreetly view it from time to time. Soon the talk was over and we got into the magazine and I zoned out so as to not get upset with some of the crap they try to push down everyone's throat. Thankfully we reached the end, heard the awful singing, and then came the prayer by the same speaker.
He started the prayer using "Father" and continued using "Father" and then came the Amen. I usually do not say Amen as I won't usually agree with anything these maggots say. Yet this time it was different. I said Amen. Why? Not once, none, did this brother use the name Jehovah in his closing prayer. I was shocked but very happy to see him obey Jesus in how we are supposed to pray to God.
Has anyone else experienced the same or something similar?
I'm still scratching my head over this one. Could it be he's awake?

Real Prophecy vs. Watchtower Prophecies
by Perry inwhile we had our eyes fixated on our "one-time" idol the watchtower and their false prophecies like the generation of 1914 that wouldn't pass away, 1975 etc.
; a number of real prophecies were unfolding.
we just weren't taught to look for them.

@ Perry - the majority of members on this forum have all but given up on God. Sad to say but true.
The fact is while many things have improved in the world, many other things have gotten worse yet they are ignored.
Take care.

So... Are they done printing the number of partakers?
by thedepressedsoul induring the wt study yesterday i had a confused look on my face the whole meeting.
more of a, wtf, face.
one paragraph says, "therefore, the number of partakers does not accurately indicate the number of anointed ones left on earth.".

It's simple.
The GB maggots see the number going up which can only indicate that the time of the end is still in the future, perhaps distant future. Therefore, members will lose interest and sense of urgency (undying loyalty to GB and ass kissing) and therefore these maggots will lose power, following, and overall control over members.
Losing power has always been the number one worry of these maggots. They need to have people eating out of their hands otherwise they are not a happy bunch.
