  had two lovely jws (stephen and ruth) visit this morning.

  this was our second study in the last 2 weeks.

  they first knocked on my door (bell is out) 3 weeks ago and i shared my testimony and we arranged to meet last tuesday which we did.. our first study went like this:.

  We will not accept requests from groups made entirely of single pioneers where there is both genders (Clarifcation note by STA.. no single ladies mixed up with single dudes unless there is someone to watch them).

  Gotta love the parental advice from the Faithful and Dishonest Snakes.

  They fear grown people, who by the way, are supposed to be devoted God fearing Christians, will actually give in to their carnal desires.

  meeting with elders about WT involvement in UN

  i still go to the meetings because of my in wife and it came about that the elders knew of my pissed off attitude about the society getting involved in the un.

  so the elders said they could help me get over that and wanted to meet with me.

  now just to let you know, i have only told my wife and her mom so far about it, that's it.

  As much as you may want to speak common sense to them and reason with them about the WTS involvement with the UN, in the end, the only thing that will matter to them is "if you still believe that the FDS is Jehovah God's spokesperson."

  You can catch the FDS giving contradicting advice within the same paragraph and it will boil down to "do you still believe that Jehovah God is using the FDS as his earthly representative."

  It's kinda like trying to teach a 2 month old to do calculus. They won't get it.

  i wanted to send an update that today my beautiful grandmother passed away - surrounded by friends and family.

  does anyone remember john wyatt he was a circuit servant for many years, he left the organization many years ago.

  he passed away on the 1st of dec 1914.his wife barbara & son robin will miss him..... .

  If Ray Franz had really wanted them to be downloaded free of charge, he would have made it crystal clear in his will, as would Cynthia.
  

  In his last years I don't believe Ray was concerned with the distributing of his information but rather that it was available.

  Saying what a dead person would have wanted is hardly a legal argument - but it might be enough to salve a conscience from "breaking in" and stealing stuff. And saying it is "vital" information is another way of arguing in favour of stealing something.

  It's clearly obvious you have not read both of Ray's books, otherwise, you would know how Ray and Nestor K. felt about the spreading of this 'vital' information. I'm going to go out on a limb to say you've never downloaded anything illegal, or have you?

  Your insinuations and argument is flawed. But hey, freedom of speech, right?
