Cat Power was so strung out the night she played in Lawrence. 'Played' is more like it. She mumbled through most of her songs and stumbled off stage halfway through the set. I love her cds, just wish she could stay sober on tour.

I know this guy. not as friends, but he's one of the Eastside Lawrence hippies. I lived about eight blocks from him until last week.

my google wasn't much help.. does the society yet recognize dna, a rape kit, etc., as evidence that could supplant a "second witness" which they have always insisted on?.

the drain tunnel was in the city limits, so they asked how many times I'd screamed for Jehovah to save me. they decided I hadn't fought enough, because every instance in the literature says that when women scream for Jehovah, the rapists stop and run away.

thanks for the heartfelt apology from the ex-elder. it helps to know that. maybe one of the elders who worked on my case felt conflicted by what he did.

my elders were: a guy who worked in a dairy factory, an electrical engineer, and a guy who delivered Pepsi to convenience stores. my fate was in their hands. religious leaders, all. it could have only been more perfect if one of them had cleaned offices for a living.

i did laundry at the new facilities yesterday morning.

some enterprising jw had "placed" old magazines in each section.

i did my good deed for the day, and stole them for later use in collage projects.

my gawd.

i noticed that the movie got decent reviews and i didn't really hear anything bad about it, so i gave it a chance on hbo tonight.. .

these stupid ass reviewers got duped.

the glorious, shining moment of the whole movie was when the kids were in the schoolbus and witnessed the cattle execution. everything else SUCKED!
