I dont know how i can leave my family!
by BlackWolf inmy mom and i were talking today about how next summer i will be 18 and she said that just thinking about it might make her cry.
that made me think about how much more it would hurt her if i quit being a jw.
i really do love my parents, i know they are just being cruelly manipulated by a cult and that they really think they are doing what is best for me.

Leaving jw propaganda all around the house, what to do?
by Crazyguy inthe wife leaves it all around, not sure if this is by design i don't think so since the return to jah brochure was never left out.
it drives me a bit nuts but haven't done anything about it.
looking for ideas on what i should do?

One day I packed all of the pieces of litter-ature she had lying around the house and stacked it with all the junk mail to be thrown out.
She got the message.
I don't think for one minute that this activity is not by design. It's left out in the hopes that you'll pick something up and read it and perhaps spur you to getting back into organizational activity.

Every Know Anyone Too "Weak" To Wake Up?
by freemindfade ina jw that is probably irregular, they don't really attend meetings, they are not up on anything going on, they may even seem like they are faded but they are not, they are just slackers.
a jw that is impervious to the f.o.g.
(ok maybe it bums them, but they are too lazy and self serving to do otherwise).

The last time a couple of elders were in my house trying that tact with me they got tossed out.

OH...that's an easy question to answer. You just rationalize to yourself that the bag of meat and water you own is less than a full person or not one at all.
After slavery ended, that was still the justifications used for all of Jim Crow.

My wife is of the too weak category to ever wake up.
Being a witness is all she knows. She's third generation and is fully convinced that she will see her Nana again, live in paradise petting wild animals any day now as soon as, how she puts it, doesn't know how its going to happen but soon, government is going to turn on religion as and soon as they turn their attention to jehovahs people it is going to be like touching his eyeball.
The same thing her grandmother and grandfather used to say..........dead for 30 years.
The same thing her father used to say.........now dead for 8 years.
The same thing her mother says..........one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel and sliding fast.
It all sounds like pimp talk to me.
If insanity is believing and doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result, I submit that she might be certifiable.

Should I get babtized?
by BlackWolf ini know this sounds like a ridiculous question but i was talking with my mom in the car today and of course we got on the topic of getting babtized again.
she told me that jehovah holds me accountable for my sins regardless of wether i am babtized or not so i have no reason to be holding back because it won't change anything.
my parents are the type of super strict jw who will shun you just for not being a witness.
