  i have opened thesite to relate this part of my day.. yes the jw are such happy people.

  yeah right... my wife has come home after an extended sunday meeting in a foul mood.

  to be around her is like feeling your way through barbed wire.

  My wife went to their annual meeting yesterday but came home okay.

  She knows who is paying all her expenses!

  Just woke up turn TV on to hear yet another nut case with a gun.

  first they said 20 dead with 100 injured.

  now i just heard 50 dead and 200 injured.

  whatever it is it just another nut case who was able to get a high power gun to kill people.

  Wow.....

  It took only four posts for a local gun nut to come out with a full-throat defense of the values and virtues of gun ownership with wholly nonacknowledgement of 50 dead and 400 wounded.

  Paranoid why the coordinator's wife is soft shunning me

  for the past six months the coordinator's wife has definitely been avoiding me, turning her back or walking away when i walk in her direction, giving me a stare at other times.

  if i try to make casual conversation with her, she literally walks away or just looks through me until someone else comes to talk to her.. i can only think of one reason, which is that she may have seen me give a car ride to a disfellowshipped person months ago.

  i mean, it would be totally random if she happened to spot me on this one short journey, but it's possible.

  There are always ways to mess with these people using their own doctrines against them.

  Once you realize this and use it to your advantage, the witnesses are easily outmaneuvered.

  JW Kids Bullying My Daughter

  trying not to type swearwords as i write this so bare with me.. my little 3yo attends meetings with her jw mum (who doesn't believe watchtower anymore but is stuck in because she relies on her family for help).

  my mum (the one who tells people im dead) had a party for her grandchildren.

  that's my 4 nieces and 1 nephew aged from 3yo-11yo.

  Some Good News About Me (Although Anthony Morris Will Be Furious)

  just wanted to share with you some good news i'm really excited about.

  i have been accepted for university to study psychology and counseling.

  my goal is to become a counselor and, in time, to specialize on treating those who have left high control relationships/groups like we all did.. it'll take a few years before im qualified but studying in university has been a dream of mine since i was 12, which was systematically dashed to pieces by watchtower.. .

  I think you'll find the process and your progress a lot easier without watch-tarded people around passive aggressively dragging you down.

  I have an ex-JW relative a few years away from completing a doctorate to practice psychology medically.

  Appears you both are shooting for the same goal.

  what is the big deal when you say "good luck with that" or he just had bad luck?

  i have never been a jw, but what is the problem with saying these things?

  my husband was so mad, he went to bed and would not talk to me.

  Maybe your husband felt you were doubting whatever it was you two were discussing at the moment and you were wishing him good luck as a way of telling him you weren't in agreement or weren't standing behind him.

  Or maybe he's just being a big baby because you won't acquiesce to the language HE thinks you should be using as evidenced by his getting his panties all pissed out and giving you the silent treatment.

  I had to break my wife off this passive aggressive shit real early on my exit by making clear that I would not be trying to live by the standards of the old Brooklyn 7. JW's aren't usually happy unless they can feel as if they hold a superior moral position or if they think they are correcting everyone about anything.
