  calls me on the phone, he knows me from sitting in on my studies.

  others notice his behavior but nothing has been done.

  the other day i saw him in my movie theatre staring at me smiling.

  If this is true, and if you're disclosing everything, you need more evidence. The WT is trying to see what you have before you take it to the law.

  You need more evidence or it's a he said/she said thing. Be careful.

  my jw buddy just called me with some "fun" news.

  they had the co last week, and of course dave and i were part of the elder's meeting agenda.

  my friend has just had a conversation with one of the elders, who told her about it because it involved her.

  Older ones here, what do you remember being told about 1975 ???

  i was just a little kid when the 1975 thing came about, didn't pay much attention to it, after it was over, my parents told me it was just some people being over anxious, and being about 8 at the time i believed it, now when you research you find some amazing articles.

  what do you remember being told about 1975 as the year got closer ?

  OK, I'm not admitting to being an "older one" her but, I remember:

  MY parents kept my brother out of kindergarten in 74 thinking he may never have to go to school in this system.

  My parents didn't believe in taking us to the doctor and debated getting us braces for what was left of this old system.

  The terror talks being given at the KH. They turned the lights out at the beginning of a talk and had a bunch of MS's run down the aisles in a mock attack. Had nightmares for years. gag

  Yesterday we bought our Very First Christmas Tree!

  well, actually, i did, but with the blessings of the family.

  it's fake (too many allergies in the house to risk a real one), pre-lit, and 7 feet tall.

  i think it's going to be gorgeous.

  Which way do you perfer to decorate for the holidays?

  well christams is coming and i love this time of the year.....since i started having christmas,i always have a theme....this year i am going to to gold & white tree.....i went to our local dollar store and got some ausome stuff...the tree, real of course with white lights and gold musical insterments all over it....my house will also be decorated in gold and white candles....i also got gold stockings for us to hang over the fire place....i am going to use glitter on them to put our names on them....anymore suggestions?

  We go all out! I have three wonderful porches and a porchswing I put a swag and lights on. I have twinkling lights on the eaves and a wreath from a red velvet ribbon on every window with candles on the sills. I put a formal tree in the parlor and a kiddy tree in the family room with colored lights for them. We are restoring a home built in 1869 which has been put on the historical list and it has lots of character...and drafts. We missed so much but I intend to make up for lost time.

  What do you plan to give trick-or-treaters?

  at our house we hand out two snack-sized candy bars to each gremilin and ghoul (snickers and milky way).

  we get about 20 visitors, so we have to get rid of the candy some way.

  what treats will you be handing out on halloween night?

  We have a wonderful neighborhood. Aross the street in a parking lot, they have a trunk-or-treat. People back up their cars, pop open the trunks which are decorated wtih spooky stuff and the kids just trick or treat the parking lot. After that they come to the doors. My JW kids dressed up like scarecrows on the porch swing last year and scared the little goolies! That was interesting to watch and see them rationalize.

  I have a big black kettle of goodies by the door...somehow the chocolate disappears before Halloween though?
