At our house we hand out two snack-sized candy bars to each gremilin and ghoul (Snickers and Milky Way).
We get about 20 visitors, so we have to get rid of the candy some way.
How about you? What treats will you be handing out on Halloween night?
How much do you plan to eat yourself?

I would love to give out candy, but I live in an apartment complex and noone ever goes trick-or-treating.

Actually, we don't particpate in that. Many communities discourage in my area because of the dangers. Usually there is a get-together at the local community center for the kids and a parade of costumes and picture taking.
hehe...melissa has a really great idea of what to hand out as treats, but i don't want to say what it is :-P
I'm in an apartment complex so there may or may not be trick or treaters. Just in case, I'm prepared. Snack-sized 3 Musketeers and KitKats here.

We end up with lots of trick-or-treaters at our house. I bought a huge Costco bag of snack size candy bars and hope it's enough!

One thing I have learned since I started doing this is to buy the candy that you like to eat. Then the leftovers are easier to take care of.
I once bought to many Dum Dums one year. I was the Dum Dum.

we are suppose to wait until trick or treaters come to pass out the candy??? My stash is half gone already!!
i've got reese's cups..york peppermint patties, kit kats and skittles. I've been trying to reisist the urge to help myself but so far i've succumed to temtation and had a pack of skittles sours. :(
