The court personnel had never heard of anyone being charged. I was run around from the clerk's office to the County Prosecutor. He wouldn't file it without a charge made by police of a crime. The Police had never heard of this charge so I found it and sat in the Chief of Polices office hallway for 4 days until he let me in. He wrote it up and signed it personally. I took it back to the County Prosecutor who said they can't press charges because they don't have the manpower. Case closed. Maybe justice will be done out here. Let's write him a thank you card for helping out an "apostate website" and proving what we couldn't prove ourselves without being called lying apostates. He scored one for us.

Keep in mind that I had 4 ex-JW's, including an 81 year old man who was DF'd for smoking a cigarette and they forgot he had put in 60+ years of faithful service before he lost all his family, testify as to what shunning has done to their families. They had applied the exclusionary rule and only one witness could be in the court at a time to prevent corroboration of stories. He had to sit outside with the DF'd and DA'd witness we brought and hear them talking the whole day before he was called.
The judge heard them first and learned of what he later called "the ridiculous concept of shunning" before this guy denied it even existed.

I think that article came out after the hearing.
The judge had all the info. from 1952 onward including the Org. book., the elder's manual, and I had the 1952 volume on the desk. The judge was up to speed on the tactics of shunning as my mother bragged that she hadn't talked to me in 4 years and was arrogantly proud to have been that faithful. I had brought in physical witnesses (ex-JW) to testify to the fact that they had been shunned for upwards of 20 years by family who lived within miles of them. The judge had heard it all. This guy didn't fool anyone.
"He who is faithful in little things, is faithful in much...." Little lies....big lies. It's all lies.

My parents signed affidavits saying I was an unfit parent due to being molested by my father with the permission of my mother for 6 years. (!?!?!?!?) She was another surprise star witness that backfired on them. My dad sat out in the car outside. My parents both see the kids now with the blessing of the congregation while I am shunned. Against court orders. My mom sends me photos of them at assemblies...... and Watchtowers.

The hearing was to be over at 5 p.m. They insisted on bringing in the last witness because he had travelled from out of town.My own parents had testified before this and my mother stated in court "my good man (to the judge mind you) my daughter was molested by my husband but she was old enough, she was over 12." The Judge saw the sickness for what it was and asked for a recess because he was going to be ill. My father also signed an affidavit saying I was incapable of being a parent due to being molested!!! He was outside in the car. My best friend walked out of the courthouse with me, the worldly friend who wasn't allowed in my house the entire 13 years we grew up together, and gave him a double salute.
Every witness they brought for use against us, only convinced the court they will lie arrogantly in the face of the law.We brought over 300 pages of affidavits from around the world, signed and sealed by notaries, etc., newspaper clippings about the horrendous acts of fathers killing their families in the face of shunning, ShunnedFather sent 2 inches of affidavit himself. The court allowed us to exceed the legal limits for presentation of evidence to be considered and the judge took days to read it all.
The outcome was they initally banned ALL shunning of me by anyone. The children cannot be allowed to have any contact with anyone who considers me less than an upstanding JW.

My ex proceeded to take the kids to a counsellor who had "nice JW family". She wrote a letter to the court. They pulled the "First Amendment" card. He got custody. My question: Where are my first amendment rights to leave a religion while not surrending my rights to be a parent? Forgot to add: I have had 6 protective orders on my ex and he plead "no contest" to stalking me. Not a nice guy to have control of your children's futures, spirituality, well-being, and ultimately, mine. -
