  Lol holy cow!!!!! I just got a call from a faithful brother who saw the broadcast..... He is appalled. Its note worthy that he isnt an older man who may naturally be turned off by such a blantant solicitation, he is a millennial, only 30. Lol this may back fire big time

  i have been visiting and commenting on jwn on my phone and have had a lot of success.

  the only thing is a couple of times i have hit the like or dislike button and can undo it.. simon could you add a way to help us uncheck a mistake..... i am not too concerned about the like button as much a the dislike....i wouldn't want to discourage any posters .

  The problem is an apathetic witness is a coiled spring. Given the right stimulus they spring into cult mode and become engaged, at least for a while. This cult, by its nature and cutlure, weeds out the apathetic by natural selection. There are plenty who awaken and remain for personal reasons but few are genuinly apathetic but still active

  does this mean possible a creator did or does exist.

  there is plenty of evidence of a slow evolutionary changes over millions of years and i do not disagree with this.

  but again that fact that mankind can not create a living creature from scratch mean there must be a creator?

  may 04, 2015. cornwall, ontario - it's nearly time for the annual pilgrimage to cornwall for thousands of jehovah's witnesses.. the faithful will start converging in cornwall on june 12 for the first of three watch tower conventions being held at the cornwall civic complex in the ed lumley arena.. altogether more than 7,500 delegates will be attending the three conventions, pumping in excess of $3.5 million dollars in economic benefits into the community, the city said monday.

  @vidiot - i was affirimng that indeed the "lynn" in question is a man and that the paper must have made a mistake in using the pronoun "she". It was confirmed beyond doubt on page two that the lynn in question was is a man as i stated originally.

  @pbrow- i was merely stating the jw view of things not representing my own view. My mock gasp at the "handling of money" remark reflects the fact that my mother is significant person in local area finance and, dispite her accomplishments professionally and the tens of millions of dollars she is responsible for daily, she couldnt handle a thousand bucks of JW money. Irony.

  Contributions, lets do a survey.

  there is a lot of talk on how much the organization has and how much they receive in contributions.

  now with the latest begging video from lett, maybe we as an ex jw community, try to figure this out together.. this is just an idea and i want to get other opinions on this.. if enough members who actually know the figures from their (last) kh for the building fund and other contributions are willing to enter this information on a website, we can use these figures to estimate the actual amount the organization is receiving from the publishers.. the figure will never be accurate, but i think it would be fun..
