Simon, weird little forum glitch....
by _Morpheus innothing thats makes the board unusable but for the past day or two anytime you click a thread to try and open it to the last page (meaning most recent post) from the main threads summery page it takes you half way, meaning on a thread with ten pages it will take you to page 5. from there you can click the page number at the bottom to go directly from page 5 to page 10. this is using safari from my iphone.
to open the thread im clicking on the picture of the last person to post

Have you heard the one about "Back to the Future" Predicting 911??
by EndofMysteries inwhen somebody posted this on fb, i was anxious to see how ridiculous it would be, probably worse then the gb prophecies, etc.
after watching the clip, i honestly don't know what to believe.
at the very least it's very entertaining and interesting.

Have to disagree with that one viv. The band is "Van Halen" not "Van roth". If Eddie is in the band, its Van Halen ;) -

Ha! Knew those too ;) maybe zemukius was ALSO predicting the future of van halen which also blew up after sammy was thrown put.. Coincidence? I think not. Mind blown x2!
now let me complete the freak out.... Did you know that of the three guys who comprise ZZ Top, two have legendary beards. The one who does not have a beard....his last name....
Beard.

No 'Tight Pants' policy is now official - classed as 'disturbing'
by wizzstick inin short:- tight pants is no longer just a am3 hang up (or is that a hang up on the well hung?
)- brothers who have effeminate body language are flagged up- as are sisters with 'masculine' hair styles or dress- such dress is 'disturbing to the congregation'- the above must heed the (repeated) counsel from the elders...or they get stripped of the right to share on the ministry- however...this will not be revealed (announced) to the congregation.
wow.

This is NOT unprecedented. There was a publisher locally who had mental heath problems. The pub did not get them treated for a long period of time (despite knowing about them) and became an embarrassment at peoples doors, behaviour wise. With the support of the branch the publisher was told they were no longer allowed to go in service although no judicial action was taken. -

Consider it this way... The reason we are here is because we all were in the matrix at some point. Its far better for the OP to question and get some guidance in logical thinking and cult tactic avoidance than to chastise him or her for asking in the first place.
The dumbest question is the one not asked type of thing.

Well played viv :)
but it was a trick question. It was indeed Edward Van freakin Halen, guitar god and my personal rock idol. But it wasnt eruption....
it was not a particular song. Eddie claims he just laid down a few riffs and its not one i know (and i know em all ;) so that fits
But the tape he slides into his walkman says van halen so your answer is as correct as it can be. I shall make a small donation to the college fund in your name!

I would say definitely.
Much of the book is real life experiances, both rays personal ones and organization as whole accounts. Those dont change with time and they still carry a lot of significance. Milawa vs Mexico bribery, flip flopping on teachings and the impact on peoples lives, the writing of the aid book etc etc all still have relevance.
further, as marvin noted, the org still runs the same. Ray pulls the curtin back for those that were never in middle managment let alone upper cult managment, and shows how there is nothing special and certainly nothing spirit directed going on there.
The doctrinal stuff was interesting to me at the time i read it because i was still semi believing. Now, not so much, but that one aspect doesnt lessen its value for me at all.
