Heres the thing.... Call, dont call its your choice and you have to live and die with it.... Its not going to change the reality:

The bigger issue is trying to have a relationship with someone in a cult. The odds are 10,000 to 1 against you... Maybe 1,000,000 to 1 maybe more..... You simply cannot expect happiness from this relationship. Its not going to end well no matter what you do.

You mentioned another poster who found real love... I think you mean cognac. Go back through her posts. Its been like 8 or 9 years of heart break for her with a JW guy.... Shes just now coming out of it.... Its misery. Im stuck with a witness wife. Complete hell somedays.... Over and over these stories play out on this forum.... Your not different. Your jw girl isn't a special snowflake.. She in cult that teachs her to hate people like you. Shes already pulled away. Even if you temporarily convince her to have a relationship with you it wont end well.

you also mention specifically that she is black.... This leads me to assume you are not, other wise why bring it up. Mixed relationahips/marriages are not all uncommon but also present challenges in themselves...

This is a disater waiting to happen. You wont listen. You will try anyway. We will be here for you when you need to talk again....

adele's new album came out today.

so far i love it, although one of the songs feels a bit overwrought to me.

i find her to be at her best, as i always have, when she is singing only accompanied by a piano.

Is this a BEAUTIFUL STORY--or what?

act one________.

now in an ordinary romance of the golden hollywood era, the boy goes off to war while the young lady waits nervously for his safe return.in a cary grant, debra kerr movie, the two vow to meet after a certain period of time and tragic circumstances intervene.. in my story, the young man is a conscientious objector who goes to prison instead of off to the vietnam war.

adele's new album came out today.

so far i love it, although one of the songs feels a bit overwrought to me.

Good question cog.... Its in my Adele comfort zone, just here and her the piano, voice full of emotion....

but i think its the lyrics. Of all the songs on her new album this one touchs me the most.

"When the pain cuts you deep
When the night keeps you from sleeping
Just look and you will see
That I will be your remedy..."

Thats the refrain. So moving to me... To have someone who is that 'remedy' is indescribable to me.... But somehow she put it into words when i couldnt.

Another line:

Come whenever I'll be the shelter that won't let the rain come through
Your love, it is my truth
And I will always love you
Love you

That one, your love is my truth and i will always love you, absolutely brings a tear to my eye....

highly recomend a listen if you get a chance :)

My absolute favorite song is called "Remedy". I highly recommend a listen!

JW message becoming more and more relevant

mans requirements are limited which can be satisfied with a little and tension-free endeavor..

however man attempts not only to collect but also to grab and amass everything to the excess.

somehow he feels that he can be happy only when he has in abundance whereas others have nothingwhich seems to be the thread that runs throughout the history.

music and art have been a big part of my life since i was a little boy, and although i was never able to play a decent guitar, i can paint.

my art teacher from college said " i was the most imaginative and constructive pupil she had ever had.

" i loved that comment, because in translation i realised it meant i had to work harder than other more naturally talented students, but the effort was always worth it.

Absolutely yes!!!! Music means a lot to me.... The lyrics and words can speak for me or to me, i listen to music that matches my mood or that i want to be my mood.... I love music so much :) I appreciate so many other various art forms as well... I cant imagine life without my heart being spoken too via the arts :)

Can a baptism be annulled?

i joined this site about 4 years ago and life was very different to say the least.

i was a jw and started the process of 'waking up' after experiencing life threatening blood loss due to complications of a pregnancy.

i was married with two kids (husband was an ms) and was a stay-at-home mom.

Unfortunately i dont have anything overly insightful to add. Mephis and simon are dead on. The basic answer is "no" with a very very specific circumstantial exception . Not gonna happen. Im very sorry.... If it were easy to get it annulled then the whole df'ing policy would fall apart. Df'ing is what keeps the organization running. Without that hammer they have no power.

Terry, my heart both breaks for you and soars with you :) im so happy to see this! I appreciate so much the idea of never giving up on finding someone you love, that journey may be long but the reward is sweet :)
