What stan said, x2.
As i said when the ARC kicked off forever ago, its a toothless dog. Anything the arc writes or wrote is utterly unenforceable and will drive zero change in the org. I hope everyone feels better for having done it.

Dont sweat the venting, a lot of us have been there. Marriage in jw land is a trap. If its bad your left with zero options, in their eyes, except to cheat and seek a divorce. Its crazy.
Try to take a step back and give yourself room. You can absolutely divorce and be ok in your own eyes, when your ready. You dont have to decide anything today. Breath easy and take in a little freedom, try to see things objectivly and reach out to us here. Many will be happy to talk and listen. Your not the first or last to go through this and get some needed support :)

It wont affect anything. So called net neutrality rules were put in place just two years ago and the interwebs were awesome before them. Also bear in mind the fcc has specifically called on congress to make laws regarding the same issues the net neutrality regulations addressed.
This is essentially an argument between philosophies, law making vs regulating under existing frame work. Im a libertarian leaning type of guy and prefer less government over more. Show me an abuse that needs to be addressed and we can talk , but the so called net neutrality laws werent addressing any abuse.

Is it true the society were considering disfellowshipping overweight people in the 1980s?
by UnshackleTheChains ini just saw the video below and thought 'no way' !!!.
but then given the obsessive amount of rules they have, it wouldn't surprise me in the least that this was at least considered.
if there is some credibility to this, then they most certainly have gone beyond the pale!.

Actually it is CURRENTLY a df’ing offense. Dont believe me...? Please observe the following quote from their secret elder manual:
Now have i ever actually seen or even heard of someone being df for gluttony..? No. Never ever a word about it in any way. But it is, technically, possible even today.
