Hollow earth
by Jrjw ini thought the flat earth conspiracy theory was strange but ive just read an article about a new conspiracy theory that the earth is hollow and that its a paradise there and 8 foot tall intellectually advanced aliens live there who send space ships out every so often to check on mankind.
apparently lost viking colonies and nazis that fled there after world war 2 are living there immortally 🤣🤣 .
this world just gets better and better 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

i think there is a sense in which it is useful to distinguish categories of description that can be fruitfully defended (apples and bananas) and those that cannot (caucasian or other racial descriptions for example).
but there is a more fundamental sense in which i believe that everything is socially constructed, every single line you can think of.

You are spot on crow. What can change is what that one inch means to the observer. To an ant, one inch is huge. To an elephant, not so much. The inch never changed.
Race is an observable and even definable characteristic but it dosent change the basic fact that person being described is human. The earth is fucking sphere no matter who may observe it or try to define it Otherwise. The physics of the universe depends on it. I am all for questioning the assumed realities but the flat earth thing is a preposterous troll exceeded only by any attempt to legitimize it by arguing over it.

to your remarks on shunning, i read it as i did in light of the following quote:

it seemed like a shunning comparison in that quote. I responded as such. If you meant it differently or perhaps i read words that were not there then of course the conversation can and should be modified to reflect such. I also see you have a podcast, i will have to check that out.
you also asked if he should “forever” be labled as something he admitted to... good question. Is a pedophile ALWAYS labled a pedophile? When does the label expire? Is a murderer ALWAYS a murderer? When does the label expire on that? i also see from a few of your posts that you have a podcast, i will have to check that out...
the issue, and i hesitate to repeat myself, is that LLOYD brough this up. In a book. In a book HE wrote. In a book HE wrote and HE published and HE profited from. Neither lloyd nor anyone else has just cause to be upset when lloyd is questioned about something HE wrote and HE published in a book that HE sold and profited from. This wasnt a tell all by a tabloid. LLOYD wrote the book. And LLOYD published it. LLOYD made money from it. I also see you have a podcast... i’ll have to check that out.
Wrapped up in this is the idea that the wt org has spent a very long time hiding pedophiles. Lloyd is writting book about being in and ultimately leaving that cult... he manages to drop a glaring reference to some pedophiliac activities in his book then runs away... but its our fault for asking for details? No sir. Save your self righteous bleeding heart defense for those who need or deserve it. Lloyd is neither.

That is incorrect . There are HUGE differences between attempts to categorize humans into sub categories (ie “races”) and in describing the physical shape of the planet we live on and therefore the physics of the universe.

Well let me first clarify, i dont see any post i expressed delight in tearing him down. I laughed at the greatest man photoshop because lloyd is an arrogant SOB. I formed this opinion from my personal interactions with him and nothing he has done or said has changed my impression of him.
As for the rest, he wrote a book. If he didnt wish to speak of it or be questioned on it then perhaps he shouldnt have spoken of it. In a book. That he wrote himself. And published. And profited from. You dont get to choose which parts of a book people read once you write it. And publish it. And sell it.
As for your ridiculous comparisons to being df’d.... please. Because i think someone is an ass and dont want to deal with them dosent equate cult shunning. Thats called life. We dont all see eye to eye and we dont all like each other as besties. To take personal decisions and try to equate them to cult instituted shunning trivializes the pain inflicted by the cults manditory shunning. It also takes away the responsibility i willingly bear for having a view of a person.
In short, if didnt wish to share it then he shouldn't have shared it. Its public domain. He can clarify or not but its 100% a legitimate topic for discussion.

Dub, i felt the same until i realized he wrote it in a book. On purpose. And refuses to answer questions. A simply ‘bad choice of words’ would clarify it. He wrote and published it and now refuses to clarify. Thats on him.
