  president trump is definitely a demagogue, a populist, and not a great extemporaneous speaker, just to mention few of his more conspicuous flaws.

  however, i was going along because "it's the economy stupid".

  now that has changed.

  If the administration had imposed a rule requiring all gov funded projects to use american steel i would have applauded. Keep american tax dollars in america, although i wonder how much that would really be, but as a policy i love that.

  Imposing terrifs is a bad idea on so many levels. I get his view that cheap steel from overseas is being financed by foreign governments and therefore its impossible for american steel to compete... but these terrifs will have huge ripples and the prices simply passed on to american consumers. It amounts to a back door tax increase.

  Trump is not the first one and he won't be the last. My problem is that either protectionists like Trump don't learn from lessons of the past or don't care. Either way is bad policy

  On that you and i agree. At this point i can only hope someone talks sense to him or that this is some negotiating stance. Time will tell.

  The mistake is thinking the gb care about making the religion more accessible. They dont. The size of the cult is irrelevant to them. ‘Narrow is the road and few finding it’ and all that. They want a comparatively small easy fo handle cult that is self sustaining. Growth attracts attention from money grubbing governments and lawyers. Beards birthdays and blow jobs will never change. They. Dont. Care. To make it. Easy.

  I signed one in 1994. They had been around for a while, it may have been updated when they had you sign that one. Im sure some of the folks who were at bethel before me can chime in on whether or not they around prior to but i recall hearing they were.

  Basically it was for tax status and to prevent anyone from claming they deserved to be paid after the fact. Its all cya bethel style.

  Subtle yet clear attempt to influance thinking. phycology teaches us that you never try to tell someone NOT to think something. The end result is that the human automatically beings to think the thought that was implanted. So what happens here.... rather than treat the gb as “normal” they have given the thought, inadvertently or not, that the gb should be treated like angles. Too late, btw. Toght pants tony said in the branch visit a few years ago if you didnt like what he said you could take it up with jesus. He already compared himself to being just below jesus.
