Lol you missed my sarcasm font.
just sayin' btw what's so special about these anyway?
all it is, is inviting rich delegates from other countries to hear the same thing.
now here in cleveland as noted, there has been a lot of k.h.closings and consolidations.

the watchtower is so short of money because they have to pay for all the upkeep of so many branch offices around the world.because so many of the branch offices are in very poor countries and they are not balancing the budgets.
The $200 million figure in the yearbook is only for travelling overseers, missionaries and special pioneers. The wording is very clear.
again, your putting a LOT of trust and belief in people not worthy of such. As was mentioned earlier in this thread, they announce a pretend deficit at every CA. There is no legal obligation for them to tell the truth in a yearbook as to their expenditures.
Your living in a dreamworld, neo.

Something's not adding up with your numbers.
Correct. Slim has pulled them from his arse and has no facts to back them up whatsoever
lets book mark this amongst his many many failed predictions:
That leaves 1.5 billion. If their annual running costs are around 2 billion (as indicated by various comments by Lett, possibly higher) then that means the sale of Brooklyn properties would cover running costs for less than one year.
In 2021 slim will still be saying ‘collapse will come, any day now.....’

None of this possible. The org has collapsed. Also we have been told rc’s are being held in small venues only. Please tell your lies somewhere else.
what are you thoughts on this?.
i find this alarming because jones was very outspoken and had great guests on discussing topics most other media outlets wouldn't go near.. the fact that many have restricted him access to their medium what does this say on our freedoms of speech?.
If you like Alex Jones - you are sick and need medical attention.
Really, please get help before you hurt someone or yourself.
Had you actually, you know, “read” the comments you wouldnt have found support for jones personally but rather support for the idea of free speech and engaging ideas, no matter how stupid they may be and fear that anyone group would dare to put themselves as arbitors of whats worthwhile or gate keepers of ideas.
As always i encourage you to read what was actually written, not what you want to have been written.
If anyone needs help its those who need help with reading comprehension.... although you probably would say you only need help getting the bonfire started. The left’s need to censor and ban as they cry “fairness” is unbelievable yet sickly real.

Now lets rewrite that byline to accurately reflect the wt org...
”sears has shown modest growth in assets (publishers, in the wt comparison) while cutting costs by closing poorly producing brick and mortar locations (kingdomhalls).”
Still feel the same?

How long can a bakery survive without charging for cakes, or a shoe shop without charging for shoes?
Quite frankly, it’s a wonder that Watchtower has managed to survive as long as it has!
Round and round we go.... as noted many times before, The wt was never a publishing house in the traditional sense. They simply use the publications as a means to separate the flock from their money. They have always been a religion with their members as their source of income. As long as they have members they have “shoes to sell”, to use your flawed analogy.
Also, you admit to being supprised they have lasted this long.... at what point do you realize your assumptions are clearly flawed?
figures from that latest 2-weekend convention in caridff (wales) reveal jw “growth” now in decline.
baptisms are discouragingly low (21, combined), and circuit overseers have been primed to deal with assemblies where there are no baptisms; see these leaked 2018 instructions:.

Well yes your quite right, it wouldn't change numbers at all.
Just thought I'd mention it as it is so unusual. I heard local cong friend's rib her about it every now and then as they think it's weird!
FF, any remarks indicating that the subject of rebaptsium being stupid were in no way directed towards to you. Your story was interesting and not without precedent.
related, i got to thinking i read some footnote on the subject in the ks txt book and found the relevant quote, posted below:

There was a very brief time where it was sort of kind of allowed. There was also a brief time where people were df’d for even asking to be rebaptized.
For 99.99999999999% of the orgs history it has not and is not now the policy to rebaptise individuals. Further more such a rebaptsium wouldnt change the orgs numbers one bit. It would be the exact same number of publishers. Its interesting to discuss historically. Its stupid to suggest it as some sort of fraud in the future.

This has never been an "option" - what you have described is not, and has never been, anything JWs have ever done.
These speculations about "rebaptisms" possibly being required are loonier than even "overlapping generations".
Thank you. I lacked words to describe how loony toons that discussion is. Id like to categorize it as “dumbest post of the week” but its only Wednesday.
