London Protest 2018
by josephus inwell today marks the beginning and biggest day of our protest at the london excel.. we believe it's a record number at around 100 exjws at the front door.. we spoke to lots of jw's and one young man studying who has quit after talking to us.

What is cinema's first slasher film?
by LoveUniHateExams ini've heard this topic discussed before.. last night, psycho (1960) was the first slasher film, according to the guy i was listening to.. i think psycho was kinda the first 'modern' horror film, in that it was set in 20th century america - there were no vampires, castles and cobwebs.
the monster could live next door.
that's what people found really terrifying, i think.. the two kills in psycho definitely involve slashing but to me the film is mainly about tension, psychological horror, not slashing.

Im not sure there is a definitive “first” as so much in cinema builds on what came before in a sort of evolution, so that a specific origin is often obscured... but i might suggest the 1931 classic “frankenstien”. It had a lot of horror for its day and included what was, at the time, a graphic killing of a little girl. It set the stage for what followed.

the graph shows averages of 50 hits and peaks of 100.
The so called “proof of success” graph shows the exact same peak. Almost as if the same people that visit were again visiting. Hmmmmmm

many ex-bethelites probably remembered bud as one of the receptionists at the 124 desk.
bud died in the year 2000 at the age of 65. my question is, does anyone know if darrell was raised as a witness and left the religion early in life?

Holy shit i kew bud, pretty well, at one point. One of my best friends was his roommate... buds life was pretty interesting in and of itself. He was in a terrible accident that caused him to lose much of his memory and, if i recall correctly, that was when he found the org. I could be foggy on the timeline and im not going to swear on a stack of bibles that i have it right, but if thats true then buds family wasnt in the org.
How do you know the connection? Did bud mention it?

I have had active JWs listen to my podcasts.
Im not sure why you are taking this personally. ive long said that non confrontational activism, like this web site, jw facts and yes podcasts, are ideal for jw’s. They allow the needed anonymity to question . Protests do not.
You never know who will listen, who might have a seed planted by activism, etc. All of this discouraging of people with the balls to do something publicly is pathetic. Sack up or shut up.

Are you really asking or are you assuming? Seems like assuming. If your asking, i have an answer. I have helped more than a few leave the cult. I dont feel a need to make topics about it although i have mentioned it in the context of “how” i did it so as to help others if they were interested.
OUR families and loved ones are in the JW cult number, living a nightmare, awaiting a fantasy.
