  Why doesn't Jesus appear to you ?

  the new testament tells us stories about miracles, people speaking in different languages by the holy spirit, jesus appearing to many of his disciples.

  but, why this was only a first century phenomenom???.

  Look.... Thor dosent like to brag, and he dosent want me repeating this, but i have it on good authority that the jewish carpenter owes big money to the thunderer for a lucky hand of five card draw and dosent want to pay up. Thor hangs out a lot on earth keeping frost giants in check so jesus keeps away hoping Thor will forget.

  A Green Handshake

  i just learned that sometimes people give "green handshakes".

  is this the same as bribing your way up?.

  Never heard of a greenhandshak letting someone get baptized. Getting people dunked is a badge of honor and a special little notch in a jw belt all on its own. As an elder i never accepted green handshakes, it didnt seem right, but i know others did and it certainly could cloud things when discussing appointments

  I was unkind & I am deeply sorry

  early this morning, i was stopped at a service station dealing with a mechanical issue with my motorcycle.

  i was approached by 2 young men who pro-offered some of your reading material.

  i deeply regret that i was very unkind; in actual fact, i was quite mean in my response to them.

  Baby steps taken with a grain of salt

  seeing how my jw wife nearly lost it when i woke up to ttatt and was df'd just over a year ago, she has been showing cracks in her armor.. 1. she has stopped pioneering to resume her good-paying career, working full-time.. 2. she suggested marriage counseling.. 3. she suggested going to a latin rap concert at a casino for our anniversary.. 4. when we reconciled recently and began living together as a family again, she agreed to alternate weeks of jw activity with the kids, one week doing the jw thing with her and the next week not doing the jw thing with me .

  5. she hasn't had perfect attendance at meetings or for field service since she started working full-time.

  just last night, she skipped meeting to help co-workers prepare food for an employee appreciation luncheon held today.

  VA shooting suspect was raised a JW! He mentions it on his Twitter account

  anyone in the usa following this morning's shooting "on-air" live tv will know what i'm talking about.

  bryce williams (not real name, but on-air name) shot and killed 2 people on live television this morning in roanoke, va. he was wearing a go-pro camera, and uploaded his first-person video onto his social media accounts.

  i've seen his twitter feed (before it was taken down), and not very far down he mentions being raised a jw.
