  ExJW responsible for calling the police at the Warwick protest, NOT Watchtower

  according to the great apostate, who spent time with police officers at the protest, they informed him that it was not watchtower who called the police in but another exjw who briefly attended the protest and subsequently disapproved of the protesters methods...claiming they were being "violent".. i find this very difficult to understand.

  anyone who saw the bravery of the women who stood up in the kingdom hall and told the story of their abuse and rape could not fail to feel compassion and offer their support.. i know there are posters on this forum who disagree with me.they worry that such protests play into watchtowers "persecution" complex, and naturally i understand their position.. but really, how long do we have to fear their power over their members, and through their members, us.. many jw's simply do not know the extent of the paedophile problem,.they do not know about malawi, the un, the bloodless surgery guinea pig deaths ( thank you orphan crow), the suicides....i simply don't believe that protests don't work....if there are enough of them, and they are organized, and most of all if we are united...we shall make a difference, and that difference may be your loved one.. https://youtu.be/ffhr9onbdrk.

  Interupting a church service of strangers who are unable to anything to help you and dump your emotional garbage on them is not brave. Its flat out stupid, not to mention illegal.

  Do that at the congregation that was “home” to you when you experianced the things you want to air and then it would be brave and have a basis for understanding. You would be addressing the people (or at least congregation) involved. This was pointless stupid and in fact outright cowardly. Epic fail.

  Can all 7 members of the Governing Body ride in this elevator at the same time?

  in case the picture didn't load.... i'm referring to an elevator with a (quite common) weight capacity of 1,500 lbs.. would the 7 members of the governing body exceed this weight limit??

  we all are hearing of the trend right now to ¨downsize¨ the congregations...ie... eliminate by combining, in order to blah blah blah... .

  here is what you didnt know: every time a congregation is dissolved, for whatever reason, including merging or dispersing, wt makes money!

  Jook, we are saying the same thing. My point is that even if a kh isnt sold its still a money grab by taking all the money the disolved congregation had saved. So if a hall goes from 3 congregations down to two, the org still stole money dispite a kh not being sold.

  Good catch. As an aside jook, thats the point. Often in urban areas the hall isnt sold, congregations are simply merged. It still equates to a money grab

  New boy.... again again im astounded that our experiences mirrored each other so much, although decades apart. Be it bethel or family i find many similarities. Not surprising of course, countless others shared them as well. Its nice to read these and feel that kinship accross decades and miles.

  My ex wife also suggested that i was crazy, bipolar and whole list of other things when i began to separate from the cult. For a brief period i had to actually consider it, although but briefly. In the end rational thought wins out but it seems so strange for those still in to see someone they viewed as a pillar come to the realizations that eventually come.. they dont know how to cope.
