I Feel a Deep Sense of Justice

i, like all other victims of embarrassing scandals in the watchtower, experienced a huge sense of injustice with the organisation.

however, now with the recent arc pressure, charity commission and other authorities and media around the world, and even events in russia and financial struggles, it seems to me that the persecutor is now the one being persecuted and made to suffer.

this is giving me a huge sense of relief and feelings of satisfaction that justice is taking place.

I can inderstand the desire to justice served and the understand the tendency to view the org as a monolithic body.

The truth is none of the event you mentioned effects the real villians, the gb, the asshats in legal or the service deaprtment. Those are the people who have inflicted harm on the cult members and they are ones to whom justice is really due. The people suffering in russia particularly are poor soviet left overs, people recruited under communism and their descendants, just average joes, so to speak, who got caught up in the same cult we did.

Thats not justice for the org. Thats otherwise (probably) decent little local cult members being abused and suffering.

As for “arc pressure”.... dont be fooled. It hasnt prompted one iota of change or pressure. If you think the gb are laying in their comfortable beds in warwick loosing one wink of sleep over a toothless report issued by a commission in australia, you are sadly mistaken.

Slim has said in the past that they have already collapsed. Also sometimes he means members, somtimes he means money. It depends on sun spot actvity and wind direction.

Slim, again your lying to yourself and your audience. The main source of income wasnt books. Its jw’s. Jw’s bought books to keep up with jw theology. Hw’s still are the source of wt income. They are simplt finding new ways to fleece their flock. The books were just a tangible trading item to make jw’s feel better about the fleecing.

Lloyd Evans' New Book - Is It Really Necessary?

so lloyd evans will shortly be releasing his new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.

i do enjoy his rebuttals and the stuff he manages to get hold of and leak.

but i'm struggling to understand what he could possibly write to merit a whole book.. all info on how to leave is right here on this forum.

A slow down in growth (not an actual decline in reported numbers) in reported membership numbers does not translate as collapse

Those are just a few factors. There are many more that indicate JWs are reaching a tipping point. The fact is that their growth is already the poorest it's been since 1975 and there are mulple indications it is going to get a whole lot worse. Does that count as a mass exodus?

Damn it slim, now i have to add this thread to the list of “slims gloom and doom predictions”. For the record, your first post on this thread seems to indicate you have a new new new postion, which is the same as one of your many old ones, that they are not yet declining but soon will.

Also also, if you say “their GROWTH is at its poorest since 1975” then no slim, by definition, they arnt declining. They are still growing... see how easy that is?
