I absolutely meant hidden as in making the numbers difficult to find. They used to publish the yearly stats in a wt study article. Then they moved them to the yearbook. Now they are hidden ( definition:
hid·den

adjective- 1.kept out of sight; concealed. )On the website where one must actively look for them instead of them being force fed to you.

Yea the stats are hidden now. Clearly they see the trends and decided to start de-emphasizing the stats while they were still showing marginal growth. That way when the stats actually show decline they have been hidden for a while and its not obvious

by James Jack inthis was the reply i was given by our coordinator at our recent kingdom hall security meeting.. he explained that they aren't allowed to buy any appliances or do any changes to the kingdom hall without branch approval.
"we put in our letter that a video security system could be purchased for around $600 locally and an app could be downloaded for the attendants to monitor the cameras what's going onoutside.
" they said;" such a system would not be needed in our area of the country, if standard protocols of security are followed as outline by the branch.

ahh ok i see what your saying. The example helped to clarify.. The problem is it may not be “like for like” in the case of the items on sale. Cheaper quality etc etc... the fact is, there is no kickback setup for the ldc to purchase at a higher price and the branch to get the difference.
Its pure and simple a typical corporate move. As they become more centralized they dont want locals making decisions. The group that works at corporates direction kisses ass at all cost and obeys the letter of the law no matter how stupid.
if you want a kick back scam there has been one around for a long while... well besides the kh scam itself.
Look at circuit leasing.

To the OP, its tragic and yet its the way the org has gone. The LDC has taken over, at the request of the branch, everything. Nothing is local anymore and with no feeling of individual ownership i predict it will lead to less and less care by local witnesses.
This, on the other hand...:
Lots of halls have security cameras. The objection is probably that it is not an apporved system; meaning it has to be bought from an approved supplier and installed by him, for several thousand $$$ (with kickback).
Is ludicrous. They have a program for volume discounts already on lots of things. No kickbacks. Stop with the foolishness already.
