Armageddon comes...Ressurection. What 'age' do the perfect humans, better put, what age will everyone look like in the perfect world? It would be kinda weird to see your great great great great great great grandma the same age as you, u know? Are there any explanations regarding perfect humans in an ageless state on 'paridise earth'?. What goes on??? I asked a couple of JW's and they said "Nobody knows what magical things Jehovah can manufacture"...

Kid Rock
by Sentinel inthis is just my opinion, but i watched his performance last night, and cringed while he sang off key this was the first time i'd heard him perform, and about all he could do in key was scream.
guess that just isn't my thing.
i'll take the original recording artist any time.

I dont like Kid Rock Period. I liked Metallicas performance, great riffage!
I actually didnt mind his screams because I can tolerate heavy music, even death growls and high pitch screams.
Chris Cornell is ok, and so is audioslave, kinda second rate band in my opinion. I wouldnt mind seeing Audioslave live though. Rage should of never disbanded.

So many great actors/actresses from Australia....
by DanTheMan ini just saw "mulholland drive", featuring the incredibly lovely naomi watts, who pulled off what is one of the most superb acting performances i've ever witnessed, she was spectacular.
i did a little bit of internet research after seeing the movie, because it was very strange and even though i enjoyed it, i couldn't make any sense of it.
among other things, i learn that the aforementioned ms. watts is an aussie.

I like Muriels Wedding, not really strictly ballroom. Easily, the BEST aussie film is "The Castle" I just dont see Australian film makers with any creativity/orginality. Bad Eggs and Take Away are two of our worst recent offerings. Judy lucy and mick malloy are radio gods.

Different moods / different music?
by FlyingHighNow inwhat do you listen to that helps you wake up in the morning and feel alive?.
what do you listen to that inspires you?
what music makes you nostalgic?
-
Frantic
I simply love music. Ive covered most of the bands I listen to and the end of the post. Check out "Orestes" or if ur feeling anti-JW "Judith" all by the band "A Perfect Circle"
What do you listen to that helps you wake up in the morning and feel alive?Even though I dont like pop songs, a song I might like on the radio (that I wouldnt buy on cd). Other than that, I like "Hyperballad" by Bjork. great use of instuments and great lyrical explanation/story telling. Metallica - "Frantic" - just fast riffage, gets u in a mood!
What do you listen to that inspires you? Check out "The Tea Party" and the song "The Messenger"......."John Butler Trio" and the song "Take". A lot of songs inspire me. Beautiful songs include "A Sorta Fairytale" by Tori AmosWhat music makes you nostalgic? What makes you sad?
These are my funeral songs, sad lyrics but uplifting also - The Smashing Pumpkins - "Shame" and "Thirty-Three"
Do you have music for driving? Do you have music for rainy, stormy days?
Driving - just radio. Rainy days - Opeth "My Arms Your Hearse" album. Starts of with a rainy "prologue" and ends with a beautiful "Epilogue" - these are instrumentals, highly recommended, avoid the album, it contains its demons (preferably the voice).
Do you listen to different music when you are in different moods?
Yes. I listen to a range of music. Heavy Metal - Alternative - jazz - blues - funk - some r and b (select as with rap) - not pop - ambient - rock - Instumental - sound effect - dance, the works. I dont listen to satanic metal. Mainly Metallica, Opeth, Radiohead, A Perfect Circle, In Flames, Badly Drawn Boy, Zwan, Iced Earth, Porcupine Tree, Tex Perkins, Something for Kate, Godspeed you! Black emperor, massive attack, The Tea Party, REM, John Butler Trio, Tool, Coldplay, Tori Amos, Deftones, Ephel Duath, St Germain, Bjork, Mercury Rev and the Smashing Pumpkins.
I consider myself an avid collector of cds. And am willing to accept any recommendations from people, of any genre. Beware! Expect criticism down to a fine detail.....muahahahaha (6) -

Yes, there may be great actors/actresses, however, Australian film is perhaps the WORST in the world.
I have watched Mullholland DR and you're right she was spectaclar. I dont want to spoil anything for those who havent seen it, but as DantheMan said its not for the faint hearted. Great movie. I actually watched the diabolical thriller "The Ring" last night, staring Naomi watts as the lead actress - again brilliant. If you havent seen it - please do. Its a re-make of an asian film.
Stephanus you look like Glenn Robbins in your photo. Not meant to be an insult or a compliment. -

Satanic music or not (Opeth) - boundaries of JW listening material
by Frantic inas you may or may not know, some jw elders may resent some of their music thier children may listen to.. put simply, a 'death growl' is often viewed as a warped version of satan.
the band opeth use such death grow, however, are not satanic, with one reference to 'demon of the fall' (one of their songs).
they also combine death vocals with beautiful vocals, possibly the best in the business, alongside maynard james kennan (a perfect circle).

Hey Truman,
Good to hear you are enjoying the new album 13th Step (I have 2 copies because my JW friend sold the other one to me). The reason he got rid of 13th step is this - Jeordie White (ex bassits for M Manson (supposed commercial satanist)) is now the bassist in A Perfect Circle. My argument to my friend is that Joerdie is not a satanist because thats a gimmick (like with wrestling - Jeordie played Twiggy Rameriez). But he doesnt buy it. He still thinks Jeordie is a satanist and wont listen to 13th step because of that.
What do you think about this?????? Please, it would be nice to get a JW point of view on the whole skitch.
Also, of A Perfect Circle's first album "Mer De Norms" the track "Judith" contained lyrics "F#(k your god!" - he sold it to me also. But just a week ago bought Mer De Norms again. Weird. He said he would just skip the "Judith" track.
