i was raised through my formative years by my mother and sister while my father was out of the picture.

You keep generalizing "people on the left". I don't think it's a majority of people that think and do crazy things on either side. So what some celebrities are saying some crazy things. Trump is one of them as well. It's the primary reason he won was due to his name recognition as a celebrity.

DOC the excuses are astounding. I didn't support Bill either. I didn't talk like that in gym, on the golf course nor have I heard it in person. I'm in my 40's and have heard some shitty stuff but nothing like what he said he did. Let's remember he was talking about what he did. There are also other things he has been caught up in that show by his actions that he is a womanizing misogynistic pig.

Simon I agree with your assessment of putting your hands over your ears. However I don't see bohm doing that here. Stating that many of trumps voters are uninformed does not negate the current problem on the left.
It is appearing to me that you are the one that is being dogmatic here. If one doesn't focus on the regressives only they are wrong, wrong, wrong, and everything else contributes to Trump being re-elected in four years. I fear this very dogmatism will continue to strengthen the regressives and keep secularist values as a minority in this country.

His first address was dark, condemnatory, at night, and with lightning striking at the end. I immediately thought of it when hearing trumps address. Simon I already agreed with you about the regressives. I also acknowledged that there are those going to this march with the wrong intentions. Yet there are those going with just intent. Movements are born this way. I for one agree with this march in principal and function. I also believe those who mock and ridicule it do more harm to the overall cause than the regressives as it empowers them on the left.

Simon you are right it is to bad for all of us. Trump is winning the media battle by being a demagogic bully. He alienates his own intelligence agency in the process as well.
Who knows what's to come. My sense is if this interaction is any indication that we all will continue to lose. We can't even have a day to back Women. Trump has assaulted half of our population and here we are fighting over semantics amongst ourselves.
