  i'm not jw, so i see this all standing up and very clear from an outsider perspective (i am still seeking my path).

  i joined the blog a few weeks ago.

  i dated a divorced jw (jw from birth) for a couple of years recently.

  That's exactly the point. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. I sent an email to my entire family regarding the australian royal commission. Even spun it in a positive light to make it more palatable to try and help some wake up. I got nothing but grief over it. Shoot the messenger.

  I think Stephen Hassans book escaping cult mind control explains the reasons and best approaches for this quite well. I would be all over letter writing, billboards, phone calls, or whatever other reasonable activism if I thought it would help. Who knows maybe the text I sent is sitting on the back of some of my families heads right now.

  Did your ex jw girlfriend ever view sites like this one? Jwfacts, and so on. I came to this site after I stopped going to meetings and knew I wouldn't go back.

  i haven't posted for quite awhile, just usually lurk, but thought surely someone would have noticed this on jw.org.

  this was under the article about distractions.

  i clicked on the article and below is the "accurate" prediction that the wt made back in 1958. this has to prove they have jehovah's backing, don't you think?

  in a perfect world, one would hope that no woman would need to consider an abortion.

  there is unfortunately, no perfect world and there does not seem there will ever be a perfect world.

  so consider .... 1. a child rape case in paraguay.. ... but the plot unfolding in paraguay is so dark and twisted that it is currently tearing the south american country apart.it began on april 21 when a mother brought her 10-year-old daughter to a public hospital.

  I hate spinal treatment days. My son is in sedation right now getting chemo into his spine. The hospital and people here are amazing. I just hate having to see my son have to go through this. Just 2 more of these to go over the next 5 months and hopefully we will be in the clear.

  hello friends!today is a sad day for me, as seven months have gone by since my mother passed away after a decades-long fight with breast cancer..

  because the witnessing/preaching/teaching work doesn't make any sense to me anymore; because it's not about any "truth"; and because it's basically useless, i've decided to quit doing it.

  instead, i've decided to do something that actually can make a real difference in other people's lives.

  I'm sorry for your loss. Kudos on volunteering. You reminded me to sign up for the fall work weekend at Camp Ronald McDonald at the end of this month. Thank you. Isn't it amazing how much good these "worldly organisations" do for those in need.

  the news this morning, santa ana man arrested for molesting three young girls.. he used his 6 year old daughter to arrange play dates with the other girls.. they showed the kh and stated he was a member of the church.

  unable.

  to find any other info on the case, not sure if he was a jw.. his name jesus agullary, not sure if that's the correct spelling..
