they gave me the compassion i have today.
A couple of questions for all of you that want to compare how the West treats women and how the Islamic countries do.
Do you think the undermining of women's dignity and rights in the West would help or hurt women in other parts of the world?
How do you propose we help women in Islamic countries? Should we invade them and potentially start WWIII, killing more women then we could hope to help?
These questions are why I think those that bring up this point are just posturing.

i keep hearing demands for equal rights but don't understand what rights they are missing exactly.. normally a march is to show the support (and potential votes) for a cause, but ... votes for what?

Cofty I agree that SJW's are a real threat. However to categorize this event or that the majority of those going as part of that movement is a reach. I also believe that criticism of this and selectively choosing a handful of signs to mock will have the opposite affect of what you desire. You are turning the peaceful average attender into an extremist.
Mark my words. If you and the other talking heads can't recognize what is going on here and be accepting of the people who went all you will do is continue to strengthen the regressives and SJW's.

You're an ass Nathan. I thought you meant planned address, or senate inaugural. Yeah responding to this stuff between juggling 2 young kids. I'm sure Nathan hasn't had to do this as his generation had the wife bare foot and pregnant in the kitchen and kids were to be seen and not heard.

Good job guys. Keep pushing the average person in the middle right into the extremes. I would bet that most of the people going don't agree with the extremists positions of some of the people that put this together. Let's all hound them, mock them and keep driving them to the extremes.

I think Sam Harris sums up well one of the largest concerns about Trump. It is how much he and his sycophants are like L. Ron Hubbard and the Scientologists.

Just fine you are an example of an under informed voter. You gave away your position by praising ivankas stand for women's rights. What exactly has she done for the betterment of women other than enriching her own pocket.
Everyone has labels and gets labeled. Again what is with the zero sum game. I believe many who voted for Obama and then Trump are uninformed. By their actions they prove so. If all the people that voted for Obama and then Trump would have voted for Hillary she would be President.
I also know the left desperately needs introspective adjustment. It is not one of the other. It's both. Until we all get that extremism rules the day.
