The left doesn't need the right to attack it. When we have our own using alt media sources that believe and pitch things like flat earth theory. This equalizing is simlar to what the fundamentalists tried to do with the school system by pushing intelligent design as another type of reality along with evolution.
By the way I'm also extremely worried about the education system with the new activist education secretary in office. Who invited id may be the next education battle.

Kpop I couldn't disagree more. While getting costs under control it's not the end all be all. The 2 areas I'm mostly concerned about are the environment and free press.
The environment is a rather personal one for me as my son had to fight for his life since he was 5 against leukemia. An environmentally caused disease. The Trump had a gag order on the epa and is in the process of deregulating decade's worth of environmental protections. People who have lost jobs like coal miners should just suck it up and get a new job dammit. The environment and our health is more important.
His attacks on the media as fake news and so on is extremely troubling.
I also don't believe he deserves a chance or well wishes. The biggest problem I see if he succeeds is the damage it will do to our democratic process. Demagoguery, and childish rancor will otherwise become the norm. So he needs to be opposed at every turn to prevent this garbage from happening again.

I'm irritated with the mischarecterizations that are continually being made. I have stated as have many others on this post that I do not stand for open borders. The laws on the books have been doing the job for the most part. This is made into an issue at every election cycle that drives people apart. This year especially so due to the demagogic king ding aling. The wall is not the answer. We need reform, not isolationism.
By the way it's about to get much worse with the potential reform to immigration law being proposed by some Republican lawmakers. Decreasing immigration to a trickle and only allowing in higher educated immigrants.
Look throughout history. The elite in power blame the woes of their lower class on the others in their midst. It's happening again and we're arguing over a multibillion dollar wall that not only figuratively divides us but physically does as well. A wall that will be paid for by the very people it proposes to help. The average American.
You also want me to hold my words to a different standard than the leader of the free world. We have entered la la land with King Trump. It seems that the only thing that cuts through the noise is insult, sarcasm, and rhetoric. Show me where reason is prevailing in the current climate when Trump and is cohorts are tweeting shit about Nordstrom's.

ADHD Caused by Chemo

does anyone here have any experience with this?

Eva luna we are not telling our son about his diagnosis. At least for now. He carries so much self esteem issues and baggage that we don't want to add to it.
We have also been very careful with his diet throughout treatment. It is to bad that more attention isn't paid to this during treatment by medical practicioners as it makes a huge difference. E.G. his kidney and liver toxicity was a non issue during treatment, which is virtually unheard of with the amount of toxins his little body was taking in.

Mindfulness meditation has helped my family tremendously. My kids watch a YouTube channel nightly before bed called Zen Den. It's perfect for kids. My kids love the U.K. accent.

Nevuela I'm sorry to hear that happened too you. The little research I have done to this point states that roughly 20% of cases of ADHD are caused by external events. Things like ongoing chemo, physical trauma like abuse and so on.
My son has extraordinary circumstances and many side effects from the chemo treatment. He has ongoing physical therapy due to damage done to ligaments and his muscular system. Occupational therapy for the neurological damage that affects his writing ability. E.g. His 7 year old sister is more advanced in her penmanship then him by long shot and he is approaching 10.
He went through a battery of behavioral exams as did my wife, me, and his teacher to determine what is going on with him. He is also scheduled for a thorough psychological work up as he struggles with anxiety and depression. So his diagnosis was not determined flippantly.
My wife and I are in no way opposed to medication. However due to his recovering from a battery of medications we will be taking a break for a little while, and reexamine it on an ongoing basis. We are currently working up strategies to help him develop the executive functions he needs to be an independent socially adjusted responsible adult. We have also seen tremendous improvement over the last year since he has completed his chemo. As an example when he started regular school last year he was two years behind where he needed to be and was disruptive in class. Roid rage sucks. Part of his protocol was a heavy dose of steroids a week out of every month. Now within a single year he is caught up to his grade level and ahead in some areas, and does not have any behavioral issues at school.
