  How is a "real" christian to view the custom of "April fool"?

  so here is a really sincere topic and out of my stomach i'd say it is just something pagan and such and such .... but - do any of you know about a teaching of the wts?.

  and as this is some funmust be something to discourage jws of doing it.

  i was asked that question today, or words just like it, is it ever right for a christian to shun?.

  don't the scriptures instruct it?.

  But - do any of you know about a teaching of the WTS? The library 2001 doesn't mention anything.

  And as this is some fun there must be something to discourage JWs of doing it.

  still others hold that 666 is the mark of the catholic papacy.substituting roman numerals for the letters in a form of the pope's official title,vicarius filii dei(vicar of the son of god) and manipulating the figures a little,they came up with 666.. didn't c.t.

  russell once publish a letter from a reader or something like that saying the above?

  Public meeting tradition

  anyone remember the unwritten tradition that the sunday public speaker would do the closing parayer for the meeting?

  thats if he stayed for the watchtower study!.

  Eventually, prayer was included before the public talk except for the public talk at the assemblies/conventions.

  The Sunday afternoon is started with a prayer at assemblies/conventions introducing the "public talk".

  I don't know it another way. Was it different someone before 1990? What is it with this rule - any problems?
