The 1975 Prophecy revisited

i am doing a project on the rhetoric surrounding the 1975 armageddon prophecy.

i've read all the research and quotes online... now i am interested in any personal testimonies.

i have heard a few stories, such as witnesses accruing massive credit card debt in '74 and early '75 and quitting their jobs.

How is a "real" christian to view the custom of "April fool"?

so here is a really sincere topic and out of my stomach i'd say it is just something pagan and such and such .... but - do any of you know about a teaching of the wts?.

and as this is some funmust be something to discourage jws of doing it.

New Announcement At The Memorial?

i was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about an announcement to be made at the memorial this year?

my family is repeatedly pressuring me to go and the newest approach is that they've heard about an announcement, never made before, that concerns innactive ones or ones who have fallen away,, that is all that they would tell me.

are they going to come find and disfellowship us unless we go back or can we now come back "no questions asked" (yah right)?

I agree with archangel. If you are curios about the announcement it seems you still give them power over your life. Do you think you will need something of them for a happy life? It is a cult and they can decide and do what they like - as bad as it is.
