  after some months they finally "invited" us on a jc for - even if they didn't say - apostasy.

  i once read somewhere of an official letter (boe or something) that the elders should let people fade if they want and don't cause any trouble.

  as this is what we carefully tried i'd wish if someone could verify this policy and hopefully could dircet to the writing.. i think of participating the jc (they want to call with 4(!

  Elsewheregood idea to tape it. I think of taking at least two recorders to the meeting. One to let them find and the others are backups. But please don't tell my friend - a lawyer - she'll say it is illegal (who cares?)

  Terry i know i don't have to attend the JC, but i want to know, what the accusations are - even if i can't win their game ;-) Actually i already said they should give a written invitation with specific agenda - i am sure i'll never get it.

  Simonthat's exactly what i gonna tell the elders: i would be free to tell anyone anything i want. For now we have been cautios with it. I am just preparing a mass-mail to all members of the congregation to let them know why i'm DF'ed - and that should (of course) be delivered BEFORE the anouncement. Let's have some fun! (even if it is NOT funny)

  Nothing new yet, i thought about something like "if they wonna go ... let them". Maybe it was only some german case cause WTS wanna get same privilege than "Babylon the great" has.

  And just to let you know: the elders have no power over us any more - instead we just fell peety of them cause they don't know the truth about the troof.

  Would You Ever Become A "Bible Student" & Believe In Russell's Writings?

  since there have been so many recent threads on charles taze russell, the 1st president of the watch tower society, would you ever consider following that movement?

  would you ever want to become a "bible student" and learn from the writings of russell so that you could understand "divine truths"?

  many millions who have lived in centuries past and who were not jehovah's witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life.

  many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before god's time of judgment, and they will gain salvation.

  They just didn't answer the question as it was meant! Same with all the other FAQ on the site.

  And besides it would really be the best to buy some machine gun and kill as many people as possible so the won't be killed in Armagedon and therefore will be resurected - soooooo stupid.

  I consider this very deceptive of the WTS!

  Same in the german issue: citing some outdated or not commonly used bible translation - not ONE of my 13 different bibles renders it WITHOUT "blood".

  i just noticed something that i have never noticed before.. sometimes the watch tower bible & tract used two words "watch" and "tower" when referring to themselves and other times refers to themselves as "watchtower".. is it just me, or is that just a bit strange?

  has anyone noticed a pattern for when they use one or the other?.

  "Jehovah's witnesses"applied ONLY to thee anointed ones.

  I guess that is where the reference in the NWT from Isaia 43:10 to Matthew 24:45-47 comes from.
