A Bean In His Ear

yes, friends, you heard it correctly: after jackson spent thanksgiving weekend in the hospital, and after jennie got strep throat the weekend after, our jackson is continuing the madness and mayhem.

he says he got "silly" at school and stuck a bean in his ear, and then panicked when he couldn't get it out.

we took him to the minor emergency clinic and were told that they can't get it out either because it's waaaaayyy up in the ear canal.

the receptionist at the ENT's office gave a hearty laugh and said they had a boy in yesterday with the same problem

LOL omg two kids put beans in their ears within a day of eachother? that is too funny!!!!!!

when my sister was little she stuck a pearl up her nose and had to go to the doctor's office to get it out. her doctor called her "the girl with the pearl" for years after that :-P also, she stuck her head in between the bars of the alligator cage at the zoo once, but she had very big ears and she couldn't fit her head back out!!! it was so funny, it took forever to get her extracted :-P

PS....oh my GAWD i am such a geek...i read this

Hondale' Hondale'!!

and made "hondale" rhyme with "fawn pail" in my head.....it took me forever to figure out what the heck that could possibly mean......finally a lightbulb turned on in my blonde head ooooooooooh, its ahn-de-lay!!!!

People come here for help

i think that is the worst part. people who've just left the organization, have family still in, etc, are often really vulnerable because of their experiences. needless to say, the last thing they need is to be conned by those to whom they turn to for support. and what about people like poor stillajwexelder who is trying to remain anonymous but decided to give this person their info because he thought he was helping a legitimate cause/speaking to a legitimate person?

sorta turns your stomach, doesn't it?

Marriage and Me

we are flying off to maui next week and all evidence points to a proposal being offered during our stay.

i've thought long and hard and i plan to accept as long as the wedding date is after my graduation in june of 2005. .

many of you offered some sincere heartfelt advice and i read everyones opinions.

ride a bicycle up and back down the volcano

all i have to say is bring very warm clothes!! the first time i went practically all i had were bathing suits and a couple of light little skirts and dresses, and i F-R-O-Z-E on haleakala!!!! the second time i remembered and brought a pair of pants and a sweater but still froze :-P

i'm trying to remember where it was that we stayed last time, it was right on the beach and about five minutes from Lahaina, which, btw, is such a cute little place!!!!!!!!

Thats what I cant fathom either

yeah i guess i don't really "get" what the pay-off is. i mean, if i spent endless amounts of effort and time concocting some sort of BS story, you better believe i'd expect to get something out of it!! seems like an empty victory if you succeed and just not really worth the effort.

but then again maybe i just don't have a very good understanding of psychopaths
