The best beer I had is Becks.
The worst was a bottle of warm Bud with a cigarette butt in it. Hey at a party, after a few you can get confused what bottle is yours.
what's the best and worse beer you ever drank?
the one i hate the most is labatt 50 .
and the one i drink and like the most is labatt blue .

Deleted double post (I have no clue how it happened)
i posted this last week on the e-watchman website .
they didn't laugh much.. i looked on the internet and found that in 1935 you had 52,000 partakers, last year you had 8570..according to the wt, 1935 was the cutoff date for new anointed, after 1935 all are replacements.
lets assume that in 1935 the average age for an anointed was 35 yrs, probably older, but this is convenient.
I posted this last week on the e-watchman website . They didn't laugh much. After another week of my Jewish humor , they banned me today. My last post today was the thread "have you every lied in the field service?" I was just starting to get some good confessions and got banned for disrespecting the JW's and their organisation- go figure
e-watchman's board is a waste. No really honest discussion allowed. They police it as if it were a KH and Sonofcomfort thinks he's a Corrections Officer.
The good news is that they are still at Watchtower headquarters in private rooms, on life support and faithfully directing the worldwide work. Now don't you feel better!
Your joke is funny! Funny too is, the GB is obviously worried that the number will continualy remain at 8500+
so i went to the meeting today.. i've been absent for a lil while.
my husband says "remember to smile and be nice.
" kinda gives you the impression that i'm not always...lol.
... if the new system came tomorrow, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the WTS to appoint women to responsibile positions of leadership.
Fortunately, it wont be up to them! There are already women of the anointed. What was started in heaven, I have no doubt will be extended to the earth
the other day while rereading the scriptures about the last supper, i spotted something that is very interesting.. mathew 26:23 reads:"in reply he said: "he that dips his hand with me in the bowl is the one that will betray me.".
the above doesn't make much sense to me because it implies that one would have to give himself away by doing exacly what jesus said the betrayor would do.
now, look at how john words the same event in john 13:26:"therefore jesus answered: "it is that one to whom i shall give the morsel that i dip".
Contradiction plain and simple? Any opinions?
Interesting point. My guess would be that He said both. Converstions are funny things, they're not static, they're in motion, and the more people involved the more they change. Also, perhaps during dinner Jesus may have decided to handle things differantly...just a guess.
i?ve been researching the references to a great crowd at revelation 7 and 19. it seems to me that there is little doubt that the vision places them in heaven.
naos, enopion, and the reference to heaven in chapter 19 seem pretty conclusive as to their heavenly position to me.
my problem is that, when i read revelation 21:1-4 it seems to me that this is speaking about the same group as the 'a great crowd' at chapter 7 and 19. at 7:15 it says god will spread his tent over this group.

Anyone have an idea on how to reconcile the obvious heavenly hope of chapter 7 and 19 with the indication of an earthly hope at chapter 21?
Sorry IP. The doctrine of the Two Hopes is something I believe the WTS has right.
jws and independent thinking
this line of thought is often based on watchtower (wt) articles such as ?.
thinking

I'm sure you mean well, even so, there is Theory and there is Practice. The theory of what is printed from the WTS is much differant than the 'practice.' Labeling independant thinking as Satanic for instance puts an unessesary restraint on our natural God given and God approved thought process. To test the reality of this with yourself, please tell us now, on this Thread, what you personaly don't agree with from the Society, please list them all. Also, please tell us how you would change things. I'll bet you find it a real struggle, maybe impossible, to let your mind think in those terms because of how you (and we) have been taught.
Thank you.
an elder told me the book is jehovah's latest provision to cleanse his organization.. he said soon all people that have drifted, inactives, and others baptized and not complying with the biblical mandates for a jw, will be visited and given an option to shape up or ship out.. he said that if the person refuses the help offered by the congregation they'll be notified of the date of disfellowshipping and given time to appeal the decision.. he was so happy stating that this way jehovah's organization was preparing for the final clean-up before armageddon.
he sounded so convincing that it almost made perfect sense what he was saying.
i got goose bumps listening to his reasoning.. dy
if i'm df'd i might reveal my congregation, maybe part of my name but i doubt i'd ever post a pic of myself..
The day I'm DF'd my photo will go up.

this elder I was telling you all about has heavy Bethel connections.
I believe you, your experiance shows he has a record of having correct advanced information. It looks like the time is coming soon when all of us non-conformists will be DF'd...So be it. I'm interested to see what anouncements are made at the DC this summer.
It will no doubt be a GB member who gives the talk and the announces the new policy.
Here is a photo taken during an early rehersal of this years convention. As you can see a GB member is being escorted to the platform.
i believe that jehovah's witnesses are a "cult".
to be a "good roman catholic" you have to be "cultic", that's for sure!
their beliefs and practices, rites and ceremonies are simply weird!
Webster's Unabridged Dictionary 6. a religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox or extremist, with members often living outside conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader.
Couldn't any religion be viewed as a cult by those outside of that particular religion? Especialy if the members are, in anyway, zealous.
