  i am currently disfellowshiped and have been attending the sunday meetings at the kingdom hall for the last 2 years.

  i know that many ex-jws have joined various christian denominations or have become non-denominational christians.

  do any of you now believe in the hellfire hell of eternal physical torment?

  if not, do you now have some other view of hell that differs from the jw view of it?

  There are many good reasons why we separated ourselves from the WTBTS.

  As an ex-Catholic I don't know why anyone would want to accept the Hellfire teaching.

  Covering up bathroom mirrors at the assemblies!!!

  this was one of the craziest things i remember about the summer conventions.

  i would go into the sister's bathrooms and the mirrors would all be taped up with brown paper so that we couldn't look at our reflections.

  were were amish or something?

  let just start off by saying that i hope everyone in this forum is doing good.

  moving on, i bumped inot this girl that i used to go to the kingdom hall with, before i dissociated myself.

  i told her some of the reasons why i left but not everything because i'm the type of person who llikes people to choose for themselves and i don't like to influence others.

  My spirituality? Like you I pray and read my bible. I do think the Witnesses are right about many things the Holidays being one of them. I am careful to separate their human thinking from what I clearly see in the bible though.

  but recently someone on here told me that disaffected/inactive/d/f jws now must out number jws as a whole.. i (funny enough) disagreed.

  does anyone have proof otherwise?

  Jesus used Noah as an example of the End Times, so for anyone who accepts Jesus and his words as real, Noah, the Ark and the Flood are also real. I do believe Jesus and his teachings are real.
