The WTS 's fear of the internet

they pressured their own followers into not setting up websites to promote the jw religion,they have demonised the internet as if on every webpage there is someone ready to destroy the faith of a jw, and they are monitoring websites that are hostile to them to see if they can find ways to legally close them down.

They don't have it, not in the absolute sense like they want everyone to believe and they will ultimately fail in their efforts to contain or limit the knowledge of truth.

The truth, the ultimate factual reality of everything is both an immovable object and a irresistible force, it will always prevail.

HELP! I STILL HAVEN'T PICKED A MAJOR!

i am about to enter my second semester in college and sure i know: i've got time to decide what i want to do as far as a major goes, but my school is converting into a brand new college by fall of 06 and they are urging those who are there now to hurry up and finish asap since transfering credits and such will soon get tricky once the new college is established.

my counselor says not to worry.

i still have until about the fall of 07' but i still feel i am in the dark.. what did you major in college or what is your major now?

Should I pick something specific like Marketing or more broad like: Buisness Administration?
Is a Masters really necessasry?
What about a 2 year? (As you know that is what my parents are expecting. I don't know if they'll be too happy if I decide to transfer.)
All these life-changing decisions to be made. How can people possibly keep telling me: "Don't worry?"

Research and study careers , their "working lifestyles" and their incomes. Pick something you'll enjoy doing and that you can be happy meeting the demands of that work on your life and something that pays a salary your happy with...DON'T SETTLE!!!

but then god's compassion comes and he spares nineveh, does god change his mind?

Yes He does and can change His mind. Like any other individual, He can choose what course He wants to take and if it suits Him He can alter that course. It in NO WAY lessens His divinity or flawlessness. He has options and is not locked in once He starts something, we clearly see that with His not destroying Nineveh. It also shows us that the rigid mis-applications of Psalms 15: 4 and Matthew 5: 37 by the WTS is incorrect and unnessesarily limiting. For instance, if a man or woman agree to marry, both of them are ALLOWED to 'change their mind' and not go through with the marriage if either of them decides not to do so.
