  How do you feel about religion as a whole?

  it just seems to me religion in general primarily makes truly bad people worse, not genuinly good people better; and in many cases has even made good people do bad things in the name of their religion.

  just curious, a personal poll if you will.

  I think all you have to do is to teach your son TTATT, show him how the bible is all BS and send him to college... I am sure you can plant this in your son without your wife's knowledge. Just do not let him get brainwashed and baptized.

  seriously, how can it be ok for someone to say of themselves that they are "by far the meekest and most humble person" on the earth?.

  numbers 12:3 'now the man moses was by far the meekest of all the men on the face of the earth'.

  yes, moses was so humble that he told everyone about it!!?!.

  1st time in 30 years no one Baptized at our Assembly

  at our assembly in alabama, no one got baptized, even though we added 3 congregations to our side in the circuit.

  just looked at my wife and said wow.. yet ironically, the regular pioneer ranks have increased 45% in the last 5 years!.

  Assembly Assessment increased 300%

  while at the assembly, when reading the financial statement, i noticed our expenses went from $2500 to almost $9500 so i questioned an elder and said that the assessment per publisher is at $10.50 for all in the us branch territory.. he added this helps the society know how much is coming in and helps them plan out future projects!.

  it would be a good compromise if they just ban DF people from making comments or giving talks and maybe even discussing spiritual matters with others in the cong. then allow the DFed person talk to people in the cong as normal human beings.
