  Will there be an outpouring of spirit by JW's forHurricanc Francis victims?

  i do remember in time's past after a major hurricance, that our kh would send disaster relief and i remember hearing stories about how jw's would completely rebuild fellow dubs' houses and then even help rebuild supposeldly worldly people's houses.

  however, i never saw any photos and i never talked to a jw that actually took part in helping rebuild.

  back then, i guess i thought it was really amazing and of course all true that we actually rebuilt entire neighborhoods.. so, now i'm wondering how much of it is true?

  yep, today i was walking around campus and in the one study lounge, the campus spiritual advisors had left some bibles sitting around.

  out of curiousity i picked one up and started looking through it.

  naturally, i would turn to ps.

  I guess the Williams' sisters are smart with their money but beyond that...

  well, i was watching a little t.v.

  today before work and the arthor anderson tennis charity program was on c.b.s.

  both of the williams sisters were playing, helping a good charity of course and also promoting their new book how to play tennis.. they had this young interviewer girl asking dumb questions, trying to make it like some mtv road rules competition or something.

  A good little story.

  well, college is starting up next week for me and i had to go to campus today to pick up my books.

  one of my friends from work as well as college has been nagging me all summer about this friend of his who is a jw.

  my friend told me that they hang out all the time but often argue about religion.

  J.W.'s just don't seem to be as strict anymore, what happened?

  let me explain.

  i have been inactive for about 3 years now, i just walked away.

  i was quiet at first but as i began to find out more and more about the deceptions of the wt, i have been more and more vocal in my viewpoints to my parents and former jw friends.. this past month has been very busy for me.

  Can you just have your publisher card removed?

  there has been much discussion on this board lately about disassociation, the pros, cons, etc.

  i have not da'd myself yet because i don't want to play into their hands but that is about the only reason.

  i know some people have tried the whole baptism nullification with mixed results but i'm curious if you could simply call up the head elder of your former kh and simply request that your your name and information be destroyed, you no longer want to be bothered.

  What if we all DA'd ourselves on the same day?

  ok, this has probably been mentioned before in some manner but i was thinking it would be great if everyone on this board who wanted to disassociate themselves all did it on one set day.

  i know many have already done this or some have carefully faded and don't wish to da for obvious reasons.

  however, i was thinking it would be a great statement if say like 100 of us all da'd on the same day, postmarked are letters both to our old kh and to the wt headquarters.

  I just confronted a car full of dubs in the preaching work!

  yep, just got back from getting my morning coffee and they were across the street from my house talking to a lady that i believe is turning into a return visit.

  i was frantically looking for the un letter, found it and then approached the car as they were just getting back in.

  the old dub guy totally denied any un involvement and went into the speal about why the un and before that league of nations was so bad.

  Getting back in touch with my old pioneer class.

  well, i was cleaning up and i decided to throw out anything wt related that i may still have.

  i didn't have anything really unique, mostly knowledge and family books, etc.

  however, i did find something that i forgot that i had, my shining as illuminators pioneer book.

  I going to picket my parents convention this weekend!

  ok, my parents have pissed me off so much with their denial and their refusal to even acknowledge my complaints against the borg.

  they pretend everything is perfect at the kingdom hall and expect me to play nice to their dub friends so as to protect their own reputation.

  this weekend in philadelphia, they are going to to their little convention and i have some evil thoughts.
