  puts plugs in his ears from the start.. now, it don't seem to be my imagination, but many ladies for some inexplicable reason seem a tad unreasonable at least once a month where anything i do seems to be wrong in their eyes.

  most ruddy irksome it is from a guys point of view i can tell ee.

  here we are, quite happy in our own right, say something to this here balmpot, and wowwwwww irritable utterances just tumble forth with such degrees of unreasonableness tis almost funny to observe, but dare i laugh in their presence whilst she be in this most unpredictable of states?

  I am asking. I do not know why bowen want to remain jw after discovering it is a pedophile paradise. If i was Catholic and found out that the church was a haven for child abuse, they would not have to throw me out. I'd be out door instantly.

  Think about it comforter. As we all know if you were Catholic, you could leave and still be able to talk to your family and friends plus you could still help the victims. Other Catholics wouldn't be afraid you were of Satan just because you were no longer Catholic.

  If you are a JW you will not only lose your family and friends but the victims will also now be afraid to talk and listen to you because they will now think that you are of Satan. And if they are not afraid of Satan, they still will be afraid to talk to you because if it was found out, they too would be DF.

  It's not that hard to figure out really.

  but does anyone use light or moderate amount of perfume or aftershave?

  I've tried many but the only one I wear now is Escape. I started wearing it about 6yrs ago and everyone loves it. I've had complete strangers come up to me and ask what I was wearing. One guy said my wife wears that but it doesn't smell nearly as wonderful on her as it does on you*LOL* Men and women alike love it....

  field service when df'd?

  from what i've read (and heard) over the years, the society says you can.

  you can even go up to the literature and magazine counter and get your weekly allotment and the brothers at the counter will treat you like everybody else.. i hafta say... when i was df'd, i never did.

  the thought never occurred to me.

  On another board that I frequent, there is a guy who has been DF for over 10yrs. He is quite the WTS supporter and is always railing on anyone who happens to say something unfavorable about the organization. He finally said one day he was counting his time on there in hopes it might help him get reinstated. We pointed out that he was going against the directive of the GB by talking to apostates and we doubted it would help him much. Funny, he suddenly developed computer problems and disappeared*LOL*

  Question about WT study.

  i read a thread recently where syn was discussing a watchtower book study.. is it really true that they ask you the questions at the end of the chapter and make you restate the a few sentences directly from the few paragraphs that you just read as the anwser?.

  was syn neglecting anything of importance that would be needed to make a more accurate assesment of the situation?.

  because reading back something that youve just read dosent sound very challenging.

  I can only speak of the three religions I have attended. I was raised First American Baptist. Then when our family moved, there was only a Southern Baptist Church and my parents would not support there stance on women, so we joined the Methodist church. Then as an adult when I moved, I joined a First Presb. Church.

  In all three churches, yes there was Bible study but we did not follow some outline. The verses were read and then a real discussion was followed. We didn't have the answers laid out in front of us. There was no outline to follow along. Everyone gave there thoughts on the passages and believe me we often disagreed. No one was belittled or told they were wrong. And no one sat there and told us what the answer should be. So no not all religions indoctrinate.

  The WTS does the repeating because they do not want anyone to have a differing thought. They want them all to think and believe the samething. That can only be accopmplished by having the answers right there for them to read back. and to have them repeated over and over again. Eventually you will come to believe exactly like the WTS wants you to believe. You will consider it to be true no matter what.
