U.S. Presidential candidate John Kerry
by Sneaky Russian inis very similar to
herman munster.
but looks aside, moscow is worried that kerry may defeat bush and the seemingly good relations between russia and the u.s built up by putin and bush could fade away.

As Tony Blair and George Bush continue to make a mockery of their nations, we should remember that these leaders are at fault for promoting anti U.S and anti U.K agenda's, and not the citizens of that country.
Sneaky....you should also remember that not all of the citizens of the US are at fault for the foreign policy our government promotes. -

hmmmmm....this thread started out as a lighthearted jab at Mr. Kerry's appearance.....and now we've all jumped down each other's throats to one degree or another! politics can definitely get folks all heated up!
For me,none of the candidates including Shrub have presented a persuasive case for my vote. Guess it would be easier if we did vote on looks, I'd have no problem picking out the cutest one. Instead, it is just which one will turn my stomach the least and do the the least amount of damage to our country and people.

Sorry Yeru, but none of your protestations on the 'world view' topic will ever, EVER work with me.
If you are in touch with world press, and have friends abroad (of which I have quite a few) you'll find that the majority world view of our country is one of an arrogant, greedy, hypocritical bully. We can thump our chests, dig in our heels, pound our fists, and close our eyes as much as we care to. We can quote a multitude of press reports, one-sided analyses, and twist the variety of facts and figures to justify our actions. It might make us feel better, but it won't change world opinion.
I don't want to get into a back and forth exchange on it. I've read many, many of your posts and threads and I'm well aware of your positions and politics. I know they are generally very different than mine. I prefer to agree to disagree.

You are right, there is a plethora of information available. You made the statement, though, and I wanted to see which particulars you based your opinion on.
Most of what you cut/pasted as back-up basically accuses Kerry of being a liberal, or presents interpretations based on political leanings. Kind of, damn liberals stuff and quotes of reporters opinions on actions. One could find opinions from the left that would read the same about the right.
I do appreciate the factual information on Kerry's number of votes, which does give one reason for pause. Thanks for taking the time to share information that led you to your views.
PS-Geez Czar, did you miss your coffee this morning? Thought your name was mischievous not vicious.
