  i heard about this place - kiva.org - which allows people like you and i to get involved in micro loans that help poor people all over the world.

  many of you may have read about the success of these types of programs.

  lending as little as $25 to someone in a 3rd world country can be the stepping stone out of poverty for them.

  philadelphia, mississippi (cnn) -- forty-one years to the day three civil rights workers were ambushed and killed by a ku klux klan mob, a jury found former klansman edgar ray killen guilty of all three counts of manslaughter tuesday.

  curious as to jwd'ers reactions.... how do you feel about the verdict?

  i miss many good friends back home in cornwall, my son too.

  do you suppose one day that it would be possible to fly to your chosen destination worldwide within the hour, therefore, wherever you were in the world, you could always have the option of being with your friends back home within a total of 2.5 hours, 4 hours with them and still be back home in your departure only a few hours before?

  how long before we get to this state of reality before we move on from there?

  oakey doakey mate, sorry we keep crossing lines, seems like when i'm in sf you're not, then when i leave there for another destination, you go to the same city, now we are at cross purposes again, for i am down near the mexican border, but good to hear that you will be in oregon soon.
