Thank you for your reply. I too think you may have something to offer that would be of great interest to many including myself. Many who are on the edge, which includes myself, may find encouragement to pursue further in regaining confidence in God. It sounds like you have had too many experiences for it to be coincidence.

I think I understand what propolog is saying. Many different feelings come over people and there seems to be no logical way of understanding some of them. The feelings you describe Ross, may seem real to you as coming from Jesus/ God but when one compares it to other feelings experienced by people of the same nature they would certainly not be coming from God such as the heartfelt desire to cut ones penis off and make it into a vagina but the urge to do may seem real. HS made some very good points as to praticers of Voodoo. ;)
I am interested in reading more of your experiences in the hopes of learning more. Ross, I have a Roman Catholic friend who I believe has simliar experiences to yours but some of the things she says has me wondering how they could come from God. I certainly mean no disrespect and I hope you will you take none. I certainly envy you in many respects. I too prayed fervently after leaving the JW's really feeling for some time that God had led me out of the JW's. Nothing ever came of it tho.

The very fact that the GB have no real accountability, except unto themselves, is a very dangerous formula in any setting, and for any organization.
Ahhh, but the GB would say they have an accounting to Jehovah and take it very seriously.

and it seems like we're getting a few like this nearly every day.
people who were raised jws, really worry that they are doing the right thing in leaving, yet who have been made to feel not good enough by the wts, who felt they never measured up, who struggled with it, but came to realize that what they'd been brought up to believe was just not the truth.. the same stories are told over and over again, and they come from sincere, good people - not whiny, fault-finding apostates like the rest of us riffraff around here!

last night, i was struck nearly head-on by a person attempting a left turn as i passed through the intersection.
i was injured, as well as the other driver.
the police told me that he broke his arm, and was in shock.
I hope you have a speedy recovery Jim! Glad to hear you were not hurt any worse than you were.

today i received the letter sent to all the elders in michigan that our friend outaservice was referring to a few days ago.
i was planning on scanning it and putting it up on the jwd.
but the print if very, very tiny and my hubby (who knows how to scan) said it will be very hard to see.
Must have been some good questions. I wouldnt mind reading it either. I hopeyou can get it up.
