  christian freedom i think it was called.

  Ah, you were wearing a dicky bow. Have you pierced and therefore have a tie pin? So you accidently saw your neighbours 18yr old daughter bending over while you were on a step ladder, with a mirror and a pair of binoculars in your attic. Yep, been there , done that.   Na, it's the Jews trying to convince us that their history is true.

  A quote from Simons Popup book of Biblical Trivia:

  "All thru history the Jews have been a little insignifcant bunch of nomadic sheep herders with no cultural history, surrounded by massive civilisations with amazing cultures, cities and wealth, with impressive histories of conquering and scientific advancement, eg, Egyptian, Persian, Greek,Babylonian, Roman civilisations. All the Jews ever did was wander around aimlessly and try not to end up with an ugly sheep at sundown.

  "Someone had the bright idea of inventing a history. So the cleverest, most inventive came round to this guys tent, with papyrus, ink and a quill and began a brain storming session. Within a couple of weeks most of the OT was on paper. The next problem was to get everyone else to believe it was true. So anytime anyone questioned the authenticity of the fictional history they said "It's real, honestly, it's real." After a time the phrase stuck, so the OT became known as the "History of Is'real". The nation of Isreal was born.

  Are you a blood donor?

  a couple of years ago, the red cross had several blood donation trailers set up at a festival .

  since i had time to kill, i donated.

  it seems like there is always a critical blood supply shortage hard to deal with?

  I would love to, but was told at the clinic, that because I take so many pills for my diabetes, that I can't. If a normal person had my blood they would go hypo because of all the sugar munching drugs. I've got veins full of it.....scarey!

  What a digusting attitude by Mr Brown. The emphasis is clearly that the Org is not required to do anything and because they do nothing that's OK then. They are sheilding through inaction. No thought to the victim and his/her spirituality, emotional or physical well being. No protection for other potential victims. No support or guidance for the rest of the flock who will be labeled as peadophile sympathisers by association, most won't even know if they have one in their midst. What a heartless, selfish, self serving cult this is!

  Mr Brown also said:

  The role of a church leader is to help a person spiritually, not prosecute someone for a secular crime

  So if a brother came in to the hall one night, stole the contribution box and the sound system the elders would not call the police?

  i received news from an elder i know in another congregation.

  he told me that things are changing in the way that bethel is running its operations.. i was informed that bethel no longer makes its own ink, but buys it from other companies.. even in the bethel kitchens, there is no more watchtower chicken - meat is bought from outside, this i believe also goes for milk and dairy products too.. can anyone confirm this?

  i have reason to believe it is probably true.. i wonder what would happen if the wt suppliers go out of business?

  So downsizing has hit the WT Org. It must be really humiliating and frustrating to be laid off as a Bethelite giving his/her labour for free, only to be told, "Er, sorry, we don't need you any more". In the real world you'd get paid a minimum of 4 weeks wages to see you off. So lets's see, 4 times nothing is nothing. So not even the bus fare home then.
