btw, i've been a JW all my life and left a few years ago and came back (not for her, but because i thought i left for the wrong reasons). Now i'm just reading and such and listening and observing and studying with an elder a few times a month. no i'm not baptized because i don't belive in sitting in front of a body of elders and being asked dumb questions for loyalty to the organization...doesn't cut it for me.

Have you ever had something just hit you like a box of rocks?
by dustyb ini was thinking today inside the kingdom hall (because they were still talking about obeying mosaic laws, and obediance and law was above all other), and i got to thinking, why does my girlfriends mom hate me.
my girlfriend is allowed to talk to her friend (lets call him boy 1), her other friend (boy 2), but not me.
because she's being deceiving!!!

"Good News of God's Kingdom"?
by micheal inwhat's so good about it?
99.9% of earth's population will be wiped off the planet.
humm...(rubs chin with fingers) last time i checked, having over six billion men, women and children destroyed isn't so good.

but thats seriously what they say. and they was also going on tonite about how JW's always bought warehouses and then people wouldn't let them go worship in there (i.e. government officials) so they would sue the city and say that the Witnesses had Jehovah's backing behind the situation. So it makes me ask myself 2 questions.
1. Why would Jehovah get involved in politics or skirmishes between two imperfect people?
2. (more of a statement) The WTS has some damn fine lawyers. They have won case after case (they've actually won more than they've lost i believe) on arguements based upon the constitution and the legal rights. they've also defended against many lawsuits in court. Jehovah's blessing?? or just super-lawyers?

pre-marital sex maybe, but its been this way all our lives....i've hardly ever been able to talk to my girlfriend even before when she wasn't my girlfriend...... so i'm ruling out pre-marital sex. i think that her mom is trying to hide something else.....

yep. all i hear is the same thing, mosaic law isn't in effect, but we still need to obey it or we'll suffer the wrath of the Almighty Jehovah GOD, mUHAHAHAHA!!!! same thing, went tonite actually. it was about money and going out in service. Lets donate money to build a new kingdom hall so we can go out in service more. then it was more of them lying to themselves about how the Society is growing and extending eveywhere. whateva.
p.s. all the obediance quotes were mostly from either the Old Testament (where they were told to obey laws and rules). Also one of the bible lessons that i listened to (because my mom was the householder) was an arguement for Luke 23:43 about how the comma should be placed before the word "today" instead of after like the rest of the bibles have it. (the NWT has "today, " and all other translations have it ", today ") uh, ya

lets sue the watchtower!!
by dustyb ini wonder if a person could get away with suing the watchtower for stressful thinking and loss of life.
because if you think about it, it's illegal to tell people what to do (slavery), but they claim that everyone has the right mind and that they aren't telling anyone what to do.
i wonder if you could get it suggested by the courts that wts tries to control through written language in the watchtower magazine or somethin, iono.

history repeats itself over and over again....like Joseph Stalin and Russia (he was a shitty czar and didn't do much, but he literally rewrote history to where he was the hero), Hitler (you shut up or be killed, and here's a volkswagen to make you feel better), or Saddam Hussein (i rewrite history for my country to make me look like a good guy, then i tell everyone to shut up or i pour mustard gas on them!! muhahaha).
so ya, they not gonna last that much longer, simply due to the fact that they can't control the "liberated" children now that actually see a lot of world history, then look at the WTS and see the lies. Thats what i did.

in all reality, the younger people are leaving and the older people are joining....so eventually its going to snuff itself out anyway like a cigarette..... but monewise, i don't think the watchtower can be beaten legally. their lawyers are GENIUSES, adn thats what they get piad to do, lie, cheat and steal. hide stuff up, be deceitful. so thats why i haven't done anything yet because i'm not as good as they are.
