churches shouldn't be taxed as long as they use the money to assist in the development of their community. this whole thing went over in france where the french government taxed the JWs and a few other religions because they were using all the money that was donated, but they weren't using it to develop their community for the better. so if the JW's start building bars and stuff around the area, don't tax them =D

first of all, i work in retail, so i think of a CO as a district manager. If the numbers are buggerin up, then you'll have a CO (district manager) stop by and see what all the problem is. some people will get "counciled" (silenced, fired etc etc) and some people will get promoted to MS, Elder, mic holder (supervisor, senior, management). think of it that way and the picture becomes clear ;)

Jehovah's Christian Witnesses??
by Junction-Guy in.
when i was a kid and on vacation in florida about 20 years ago, my dad had mentioned about an "apostate group" in florida and that it was called "jehovah's christian witnesses" supposedly they even had their own kingdom halls, how many others here are aware of this group and do they even exist still?

Whats the Biggest JW contradiction?
by sleepy inwhat do you think the biggest contradiction was in jw teaching or logic?
i remember people confronted us with the argument that maybe over thousands of years the bible has changed, we would probably say any changes were minor, and we have the dead sea scrolls etc that don't vary much from the bible today.
yet when asked by people with a little knowledge about the bible why the name jehovah was not in any manuscripts of the new testament, we would effectivly says its because they have been changed over time.

you might not want to forget that every "elder figure" is chosen by the spirit moving the other "elders" hands to elect them....

The funniest comment I ever gave at the KH....
by logansrun init was the written review and i knew all the answers (what person with half a brain didn't -- or couldn't "figure it out" at his/her seat?).
but, i was also the literature servant and had to get that month's request done before the meeting was over.
so, right after song and prayer i went into the elders room and compiled the request (there were always brothers doing some work in there.

i remember one watchtower study when the CO was here. i was bored and nobody would answer. so i just kindly lifted up my whole hand and BS'ed for like 5 minutes. i read the paragraph before and the paragraph after. i really didn't answer any of the questions, i was just wasting time because i thought the CO would have a pissed look on his face.

otherwise those discs make good coasters.
they also make damn fine skeet shoots. they are fun to stick in microwaves, send them as free christmas gifts, or to just throw them at someone's door....
