i know most of us have been away with the fairies, for real.
so i can understand if some give the genre a wide berth.

My favourite author is Stephen Lawhead. His Pendragon cycle retells the whole Merlin, King Arthur story.
He also does a nice line in Historical novels. Having a great series based around the crusades. -

I said to my wife ?Quick inside? thinking Jehovah had sent his angels to destroy the wicked.
Turned out to be a laser-light show at Knebworth during a Rock concert.
Has anyone else had false Armageddon scares? -

Religious programs on BBC radio four are normally excellent.
David V. Barrett who is on the panel on this program always speaks good sense to me. I have his book The New Believers, which I have found very helpful.
Thanks for the link Qwerty, I missed the program live. -

loved it, it was a great escape from my messed up life.

There is only one derby game of note IMO.
The Hornet Boys V The Mighty Hatters.
And e-man, while I?m on the subject. Why did you have to steal Matt Taylor. -

Nicolaou,
Yep, dunked not long after this at Twickenham. Was a non-questioning JW for the next 15 years.
Its funny that whatever life changes I made to become a witness, I always felt that it was only the ?truth? that stopped me going back to former bad ways.
The most liberating thing for me in becoming an Ex-JW was that now I can claim those life changes as my own. -

Thanks Kwintestal, that?s a really good illustration. Will remember that one.
I?m glad you lot noticed it was my birthday coming up. In good old JW style, it totally passed me by. -

I could explain that I?m rather fond of great tits. But I think that may be a boob on my part.
