i thought this deserved its own thread...below is a reply a made to one of the previous threads ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=24473&site=3 ) and i am anxious for someone to refute it...or maybe i'm right.. not quite...it seems everyone is muddling the details on this.. it seems that james mccann, who donated the stocks to the wt, invented an improved rotary engine called a rand cam engine.

his company, the rand cam engine corp is a privately held company, but he has donated 50% of the stock to the wt (but retained the voting proxy so the wt has no say in what is going on), he owns 34% and the balance is owned by several shareholders.

this company is half owner of another company called rand energy group.

Well, sure, if you are a conspiracy theorist and that is what you want to believe. Since neither of us have talked to Mr. McCann, it's all speculation as to why he retained the voting proxy. My GUESS would be that since he was donating the stock, he figured the WT had no interest in actually running his company for him and he probably wanted the ability to control it himself.

Isn't that what they always do when their hands are caught in the cookie jar? (UN) This would certainly just make it alright wouldn't it? So I guess if I had an illegitimate child, if I "just got rid of it," everything would go away and everything would be fine....

I see no correlation with your analogy and this situation. What do you propose the WT do with the stocks besides get rid of them? Perhaps notify the press that someone gave them stocks and then made a deal with another company to start a seperate company and that seperate company made products for the military? Should they shut the doors because of this military connection? I think getting rid of them by donating them back is the reasonable request.

So whenever a Fart Bomb (Sorry, not Smart Bomb as someone may misunderstood) drops at Afghanistan or somewhere else, Watchtower only earns one fourth of the benefit. Only one-fourth victims are in Watchtower's hand, 1/4 of bloodshed. It's cheap. Why you sell your invention Rand Cam engine so cheap !

Yes! You are absolutely right! The WT is responsible for 1/4 of the people who have died from "Fart" Bombs!! It's as simple as that!

Uh-oh, you've found me out!

Reg Technologies (REGI) and Watchtower's Rand Cam share the name Rand Energy Group. Then this Group involve in Bomb Making, BUT Watchtower doesn't get benefits from the shares which contribute to the development of any Fart Bomb.

For the umpteenth time, I acknowledge that the WT owns half of a company, that owns half of another company that develops engines for military applications and that partners with other companies involved in miltary apps. So, for the most part, you are simply restating what I've already said.

I would like to keep this thread on topic, but in my defense that is not sugarcoating. Would you like WT and Awake articles that back up what I say? Or since it should be innocent until proven guilty, why don't you provide some articles where they say you should spank your children. And, by the way, it is not RMC.

So REGI / Rand Energy Group own the rights to the engine. This McCann bloke no doubt sold the rights to them as part of their negotiations since he probably didn't have the capital to develop, manufacture, market and sell his new engine.

Maybe you need to reread the initial post a few times before all the words sink in. My initial post was meant to inspire discussion or debate on the facts I found and hopefully bring new facts to the table. You’re right in that I am not the least bit concerned in assuming anything about the WTS or anything else for that matter. I try not to assume anything. You are wrong in saying that I am not concerned in investigating anything about the WTS, that was the whole idea of this post was to clarify and investigate their connections to the military!

I don’t know who first brought it up on this board…I replied to a thread started by anewperson on 3/22 but it has been on this board in other threads long before that. Why does that matter? Finder’s keepers?

Let's make this simple and use a recognizable set of companies. For the following analogy, please use these references:
GM = Reg Technologies
Saturn = REGI
Bill's Engines = Rand Cam Engines

Let's say your name is Bill. You're a pretty smart guy. You develop a new style of engine that is very efficient, so you start a company called "Bill's Engines." You keep it a privately held company, but donate 50% of the stock to the WT, but retain the voting proxy so you can still run the company.
Then you approach GM with your engine. They like it. They decide to partner with you to develop the engine into a working product and as part of the deal you negotiate certain rights of the engine to GM. So Bill's Engines and GM both invest 51/49 into a new car company called Saturn. Saturn is going to make new cars using your engines. After this deal all goes down, GM and Saturn (being the developers) pursue a military contract and win it. They now are to produce a Missile carrying vehicle as well. Whamo, the WT is linked to the military.

I am not saying this is right, in fact, I've already stated that if the WT is aware of this connection, I would expect them to rid themselves of the stock. I AM interested in clarifying the facts as opposed to saying things like "The WT is into Military Stock Big Time" or that the "WT owns a company making smart bombs" which are some of the things I've read in other posts.

No it is not. It is Reg Technologies. REGI is Rand Energy Groups Inc. Reg Technologies and Rand Cam Engine are both part owners of REGI. That's why Reg Technologies website says "Reg Technologies, Inc. (RRE.V / OTC BB: REG RF) and its U.S. subsidiary REGI U.S., Inc. " The WT has 50% stock in Rand Cam Engine Corp (with no voting proxy so I believe they have no control), not REGI or Reg Technologies. All of this is exactly what I stated in my original post. I realize that is a lot of "R"s and that might cause some confusion, hopefully this post will clarify things.
