You've fallen for AMC's race rhetoric again.
LOL. Again? Rhetoric? In that my posts were persuasive or pretentious? Either way, I'm flattered, I must be smarter than I thought.

muslim activists have been trying to convince african american citizens that islam is the religion of the black man, that islam is african and that mohammed was black.

And the educational level that this article is written on-- would qualify to be in JET or EBONY.
You are an obvious pseudo-intellect. It is obvious thanks to your attempts to post condescendingly to others (as quoted above) and to repeatedly point out your expertise on a matter by telling us all how you have travelled here and there. From an "objective" viewpoint, HyghLandyr and Spartacus have very clear and concise arguments which you seem to repeatedly misunderstand and warp in your rebuttal.
White is only white in relation to whoever is observing it. ESPECIALLY since it is written from the view point of the eyewitness-- who may have WELL never seen a REAL white person. It's not like they had CNN! REALLY!That's the whole point being made! Who cares what race he was...from the eyewitness' subjective viewpoint, he looked white, which means HE WASN'T AN AFRICAN. Therefore, refuting the idea that African-Americans should be enamored by and drawn to the Muslim Nation because of it's African origin. That was the point. I don't think Spartacus or Hyghlandyr care what race Mohammed was, besides the fact that he wasn't African. It is you who has tried to turn this into a racial debate of whether or not Mohammed was "white."
That's my prerogative. You can't come here and post an article and not expect people to critique it objectively! GEEEEZ.You seem to be so completely engulfed in your own opinions that it would be impossible for you to "critique it objectively."
i understand that breast milk contains white and possibly red blood cells(if i remember rightly from crisis of concsience)(i hadn't got my copy on me).. should jws therefore breastfeed, violating the coventant with noah or whoever it was.
Then I'm not sure what happened to my son. He was breastfed but has had repeated ear infections. He is about to have tubes put in his ears for the SECOND time at age 5. I feel so bad for him as I think he inherited it from me as I had a lot of ear infections and they are MISERABLE!
i am looking for more scriptures that can prove to a jehovah witness that god is jesus, and jesus is god.i found only one verse so far in 1jo:5:20: and we know that the son of god is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his son jesus christ.
this is the true god, and eternal life.. if you know more scriptures that say directly that god is jesus please tell me the verses the jhw will see plainly that jesus is no way an angel, and he is jehovah god almighty.. my friend said if i can prove by the bible only that jesus is god he will leave the jhw society, and he will know that they are teaching lies and they would be to him a dogma religious sect.
my friend gave me a booklet called should you believe in the trinity?, and is jesus christ the almighty god.
I think Jude 3:1 says "And the trinity being that God is Jesus and Jesus is God is absolutely true."
i, like many on this board got baptised when still a teenager (17).. at the time i thought i knew what i was doing and could take full responsibility for my actions.. 10 years later i realise i knew very little back then compared to what i know now.. was i old enought to make my mind up?.
or could we always at any age ,be looking back at things we did wrong thinking if only i knew what i know now?.
actually how much responsibility can we hold over what we did as teenagers .weren't we pushed by the congregation and parents, we had little knowledge of anything else being force fed the "truth" since babies.. at such a young age aren't we much more vulnerable to brainwashing ?.
Although I was baptized at 14, I've held the viewpoint that since baptism is supposed to be the most important decision in your life, even more important than marriage, than you should be at a mature age. I don't understand these parents that will let their 16 year old get baptized but they won't let them get married (not that I think they should get married, but you know what I mean.) I think the fact that Jesus was 33 when he was baptized emphasized the importance of being mature.

If Spartacus' post disagrees with you because of the term "white" you can take comfort that the dictionary definition reads "belonging or relating to a people with naturally pale skin, especially one of European ancestry" which would cover just about any nationality with pale skin, emphasizing his original point that Mohammed was not black.
Interesting post by the way.
this has frustrated me for a while.... ok, pretend that jerusalem was destroyed in october 607 bce.. ok then, 1 year later it would be in october 606 bce, right?.
and 2 years later it would have been in october 605 bce?.
.... and 606 years later it would be in october 1 bce?.
That's funny that Nowhere got an an answer from Elsewhere.
back in the 1517 the catholic priest martin luther posted his "95 theses" on the door of a church in wittenberg and began the protestant reformation.
martin luther did not mean to start a revolution, though he attacked certain legalistic doctrines of the church and questioned the authority of the pope.
called to recant, he replied, "unless i am convinced of error by the testimony of scripture or by clear reason, i cannot and will not recant anything, for it is neither safe nor honest to act against one's conscience.".
www.elihubooks.com ...but I've ordered my copy twice and have yet to receive it.
ok, heres my question for all the ex-elders out there.. it will be announced thursday that my niece will be disfellowshipped.. the circumstances are not important to this discussion, but she is .
remorseful for her actions and has taken steps so it will not happen again.
she actually made a lot of sacrifices to try to make her mistake right.
The standard is one year. There have been some cases where committees have moved for reinstatement earlier, if they do they will receive a reprimand from home office telling them to never do that again.
I know numerous people who were reinstated in less than a year.
i got a phone call from an ex dub i used to hang out with 20 years ago when we were young bucks.
i hardly seen him in the past 15 years.. weve gone different ways and his family was always a bit..you know... tainted.
a bit nutso.. anyway, the guy calls me on tuesday night all distressed and wanting desperately to see me.
Speaking of memories, anyone see Memento?
This is an interesting thread to me because this afternoon I am going to the pretrial of a man accused of molesting my wife's niece who we are very close to. This man was also a good friend of mine and the rest of the family. As far as I know there is only one accuser, however social services felt there was a strong case against him. I am confused as to how I should view this man, henceforth I will be attending all of his court dates to attempt to understand all the details so I can come to a personal conclusion about this man. I hope it is obvious to me.
